Description
Book Introduction
Open Korean Advanced, following the previously published beginner and intermediate levels, further strengthens Korean speaking skills for advanced Korean speakers and connects listening, reading, and writing skills to provide related learning on a variety of topics, making it a functional, integrated textbook.
This is a practical and efficient textbook centered on real-life situations, including the most frequently used spoken grammar in Korean language life, as well as advanced comprehension grammar.
In addition, we considered the perspectives of both learners and instructors by reinforcing vocabulary, expressions, and grammar that are often neglected at advanced levels, and focused on strengthening the interactive learning aspect that can improve learners' learning abilities while fostering teaching skills in the educational field.
To differentiate itself from existing Korean language textbooks, it presents a variety of expressions used in real life, rather than stiff, formal conversations.
Since the language skills for communication do not exist separately from the functions of language such as speaking, listening, reading, and writing, we have supplemented the integrated functions that can be organically learned together to enable fluent use of advanced expressions on a single topic.
Here, we have tried to strengthen the diversity and thematic nature of Korean culture, which is necessary at an advanced level, through a cultural magnifying glass.
Additionally, by arranging the latest, rich photographic materials according to the topic, which can be said to be a characteristic of Open Korean, it has the function and meaning of a cultural integration textbook.
