Practical Korean Document Writing for International Students
Practical Korean Document Writing for International Students
Description
Book Introduction
Today, Korean society is becoming more multicultural with international students from diverse nationalities and backgrounds.
Especially for international students attending university, language skills are increasingly important, not only for academic ability but also for practical social life and career preparation.

This textbook was designed to help international students studying in Korea develop practical skills to understand and write various business documents they will encounter in the future, whether as they enter Korean society after graduation or as they prepare for internships, employment, or entrepreneurship at domestic or international companies and institutions.

This textbook is divided into two parts: 'Documents in General' and 'Document Writing Practice'.

'Document General' covers the basic skills required to write business documents, including a basic understanding of documents, how to use essential punctuation marks, how to write business emails, and presentation expressions.
In 'Document Writing Practice', learning is done by document type, and the documents covered are practical documents widely used in actual work settings, such as resumes, drafts, reports, press releases, and plans.

Publisher's Review
Each unit consists of the following learning steps:

Vocabulary (including Chinese, English, and Vietnamese translations) → Vocabulary confirmation study (solving problems) → Viewing documents (examples of actual documents) → Understanding documents (understanding structure and content) → Preparation (writing methods and precautions) → Organizing documents (writing an outline) → Writing documents (actual writing)

Through this course, learners can systematically learn the format and structure of documents, core vocabulary, and expressions.
And by understanding the practical purpose and context of each document and organizing and writing content to fit real-world situations, you can effectively improve your practical Korean language skills.

In particular, 'Document Writing' is organized in a separate form so that learners can write documents themselves, allowing them to easily receive corrections for documents they have individually written.

This textbook is more than just a textbook; it is the result of the hard work of colleagues who have spent a long time contemplating the educational field together.
The writing team first met during their master's program, and for nearly 20 years, they have shared tears and laughter together in the path of Korean language education. They have constantly pondered how to become better teachers, creating better classes and a better educational environment.
This textbook is the fruit of such long conversation and practice, and it is the first step toward moving forward together.

Finally, I would like to express my deepest respect and gratitude to Professors Lee Byeong-un, Choi Gyu-su, and Lee Jae-bong, who have always warmly supported the writing team and provided guidance on our academic direction.

I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to Manager Park Bu-ha and Assistant Manager Jo Yeong-eun of Park Young-sa, who willingly took on the task of publishing this book and meticulously guided its editing.
