This textbook is designed for teaching Korean as a foreign language, and is designed to help students learn Korean from the very beginning through to the beginner level.
This book was written through extensive research at the Korean Language Education Center of Busan University of Foreign Studies, a specialist in Korean language education, and is designed to satisfy the diverse learning needs of learners with easy-to-understand and systematic explanations and structure.
In addition, the focus was on developing learners' communication skills by emphasizing not only the knowledge-related aspects of the Korean language but also the aspects that can be used in actual Korean speaking situations.

The listening and speaking section consists of a preparatory section starting from the Korean alphabet and a total of 25 main texts. The main text covers the basic vocabulary, grammar, and expressions required at the beginner level, and allows for repeated learning through practice problems and activities.
For foreigners unfamiliar with Korean grammar, English translations are included in the grammar examples, and listening scripts, answers to questions, and a lookup of vocabulary and grammar are included at the end to make learning easier.
Additionally, it has pictures to make learning easier and more fun, and it includes vocabulary sections by topic, such as fruits and sports, which are expressed in pictures, so beginner learners can develop the vocabulary skills they need.
