Teaching Korean Grammar as a Foreign Language
Teaching Korean Grammar as a Foreign Language
Description
Book Introduction
This book examines the problems that may arise in Korean grammar education from a general perspective of language education.
In this book, the problems of Korean grammar education are organized into four major areas.
In Part 1, the nature of grammar education was identified and, based on this, the issue of setting goals for Korean grammar education was addressed.
Here, it was emphasized that Korean language education grammar should contribute to the development of practical communication skills.
Part 2 deals with the selection and arrangement of grammar items required in the composition of Korean language education grammar content.
In particular, the importance of the lump form was emphasized, and it was also described that a linguistic typology approach can be useful in composing the content of Korean language education grammar through several topics.
Part 3 deals with issues related to teaching methods applied in the teaching and learning of Korean grammar.
Specifically, we sought to examine newly discussed teaching methods and techniques in addition to traditional grammar teaching methods and explore ways to apply them practically to Korean grammar education.
Part 4 deals with error analysis and evaluation issues required in Korean grammar education.
This study empirically describes the types of errors that appear in Korean grammar learning and the problems of dealing with them, and presents specific aspects of Korean grammar assessment along with a general discussion of language assessment.
