Book Introduction
This book was written to help establish the direction of Korean language education by looking back on the history of Korean language education and examining the current reality of Korean language education, and to discuss laws, systems, and policies related to Korean language education, while also helping the government establish Korean language education policies.
This book is structured as follows:
Chapter 1 is a basic discussion on Korean language education policy theory, examining the development of Korean language education from the perspective of Korean language education policy and suggesting research methods for Korean language education policy.
Chapter 2 provides background for discussions on Korean language education policy, examining the history and current state of Korean language education and the current international status of the Korean language.
Chapters 3 and 4 discuss the Korean government's Korean language education policy, covering the policy environment, historical development of the policy, laws, systems, and policy cases.
In particular, as Korean language education policy is greatly influenced by the external environment, we first examined the relationship between the policy environment, policy decisions, and policy products.
After summarizing the historical flow and main contents of Korean language education policy, the law, system, and policy are discussed.
