Level 1 consists of a total of 12 subjects, with 1-1 containing subjects 1-6 and 1-2 containing subjects 7-12.
Each unit is further divided into three sub-units to allow sufficient practice of various functions on one topic, and a 'culture' section is included in each unit to allow students to look at the unique aspects of Korean culture and practice Korean once again while comparing it to the cultures of other countries.
