The purpose of this book is to create a new form of grammatical discourse by studying the basic grammatical structures of the Korean language from the perspectives of linguistic typology and psychodynamics.
To this end, we will reexamine intransitive constructions, transitive constructions, double subject constructions, possessive constructions, psychological constructions, possible passive constructions, impersonal constructions, and functional verb constructions based on typological achievements and propose a new Korean syntax analysis methodology.
Without accurately diagnosing the problems in the existing systems, including school grammar and standard grammar, it is impossible to fully conduct research on Korean grammar from a typological perspective.
Accordingly, we will refine the direction of grammar techniques so that Korean can be appropriately accepted as a subject of typological comparative research and contribute to the development of linguistics.
It is hoped that this work will ultimately reveal the core of Korean syntax and suggest new directions.
