Book Introduction
This book was created to help intermediate and early Korean language learners develop the ability to speak Korean more fluently.
To create a learner-centered textbook within a rich discourse context, we organized the material in chronological order to reflect the experiences that international and Korean-American students studying at a university in Korea are likely to experience during a semester.
Therefore, this book includes various real-life situations that students may encounter as they begin a new semester, such as the anticipation and excitement of starting a new semester, the trials and errors they experience in a new cultural environment, and the exams, dorm life, and school events that are part of college life, as well as the various situations that may arise as the semester draws to a close.

The most significant feature of this book is that each unit is structured around the so-called TTT (Task-Teach-Task) model, which is a method for developing learners' fluency.
Therefore, this textbook encourages the use of language to convey meaning from the introduction of each unit, and grammar and expressions serve as secondary knowledge and tools for performing tasks.
As they complete their first task, learners will encounter communication difficulties, which will naturally lead them to feel the need for new grammar and expressions.
It is expected that in the second task, after completing the required learning, learners will be able to communicate with greater completeness than before.

This book differs from the format and structure of existing textbooks, which have set communication practice as the final stage of grammar and expression instruction, in that it structures communication practice as a core task of each unit.
I hope that through this book, learners who have been stuck at a beginner-level speaking ability will progress to speaking Korean more naturally and fluently.
