Publisher's Review
What is the most urgent matter for us overseas Koreans?
Some say we must unite our spirits, or cultivate our skills, or learn crafts, or cultivate our morality. These are not all urgent matters, but are there any that are thousands or tens of thousands of times more urgent than these? What is so urgent?
The most urgent issue is to let us Koreans know what kind of people we are and what kind of country Korea is.
If a citizen of a country does not know what kind of country it is, he will not know what to love for his country even if he wants to love it, and he will not know what to hold onto for his country even if he wants to hold onto it. How can that country become?
However, if we want to gather all the people of the country, make them all know the history of our country, make them bow down to the glory of our country, and make them fulfill their responsibilities as citizens of that country, the only way is through mental education.
