Grammar Teaching Intermediate 1
Description
Book Introduction
Provides model answers to practice assignments and 32 color illustrations for teaching purposes.
It is not easy to teach Korean to foreign learners who are learning Korean for the first time without using their native language.
This will be especially difficult for novice teachers who lack field experience.
This book was born as a follow-up study to the 2011 publication of Beginner Grammar Teaching Methods for Korean Language Teachers, Level 1 and 2. It covers teaching methods by selecting 80 grammar patterns with the highest frequency of appearing on the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) among the sentence patterns commonly covered in intermediate Korean language textbooks for foreigners.
The teaching and learning method for each sentence pattern is structured in the order of title-introduction-presentation-practice-utilization-reference, and we have tried to devise more diverse utilization methods such as interviews, group activities, games, relay speaking, and writing to enable more fun practice of the target sentence pattern in classroom situations.
In addition, to enable Korean language teachers to immediately resolve difficulties they encounter in the educational field, we have presented a comparative analysis of similar grammar related to the target sentence structure and added points that teachers should pay attention to in actual educational settings.
In addition, all model answers for sentence and response exercises are provided as answer keys, and color illustrations for teaching are provided for immediate use in the classroom to help teachers and learners understand.
