Appendix Glossary

The educational content of this textbook focuses on the 12 months of Korean culture, selecting two representative cultural items for each month. This reflects the results of a survey of Korean language learners.
And these educational contents are designed not only for Korean language learners but also for those interested in Korea and Korean culture to arouse curiosity about Korean daily culture, understand it, and even experience it.
Through this, you can improve your Korean communication skills by understanding and practicing the daily culture and vivid Korean language of Korean people.
And rather than just conveying Korean culture unilaterally, we provided activities to compare it with the learner's culture, so that they could empathize with cultural diversity.
The vocabulary and grammar used in this textbook are limited to the beginner level of the 'International Korean Language Standard Curriculum'.
Specifically, it was written so that learners who have completed the beginner course can use it as a teaching material in parallel with language learning, or as a textbook for Korean language or Korean culture classes for foreigners.
Therefore, the authors hope that this textbook will be effectively utilized in Korean language education through cultural education tasks in Korean language education settings both domestically and internationally.
