Book Introduction
Auxiliary verbs in Korean are used after verbs and indicate subtle differences in meaning, such as the relative meaning or the psychological attitude of the speaker or subject.
For Chinese learners to communicate smoothly with Koreans, an accurate and deep understanding of auxiliary verbs is necessary.
However, since there is no concept of auxiliary verbs in Chinese, Chinese learners who lack intuition about auxiliary verbs have a lot of difficulty understanding and acquiring the subtle aspectual and modal meanings contained in auxiliary verbs.
This book summarizes the methods and contents to solve these difficulties, and as a study on teaching Korean auxiliary verbs to Chinese learners, it first systematically organized the corresponding relationships between auxiliary verbs in Korean and Chinese and discovered the differences through syntactic and aspectual contrasts.
In addition, we measured Chinese learners' ability to use and acquire auxiliary verbs through a survey on learners' use of auxiliary verbs.
