Description
Book Introduction
The main character of [Dongseung] is a fourteen-year-old young monk named Do-nyeom.
Donyeom's mother, who was a monk, abandoned him in the field after giving birth to him.
The head monk of the temple takes in the abandoned monk and raises him.
The ignorant Do-nyeo always misses his mother.
Do-nyeom wants to leave to find his mother, but the head monk does not allow him.
But a beautiful widow comes to the temple to hold her son's funeral.
A widow who has lost both her husband and son sees Do-nyeom as if he were her own son.
Do-nyeom also likes and follows the widow like a mother.
The widow tells the head monk that she wants to take Do-nyeo in and raise him.
But suddenly, Do-nyeo's shocking sin is revealed, and at the order of the head monk, Do-nyeo separates from the widow.
After being separated from his widow, Do-nyeom leaves the temple without anyone knowing to find his mother.
