Description
Book Introduction
Hangul is a 'phonetic alphabet'.
Phonemic letters are used to learn the sounds of consonants and vowels and to learn syllables, and the currently used Korean language education textbooks are structured around the 'whole-letter reading method', which is a syllabic alphabet.
This is not difficult when learning single syllables and words without final consonants, but it appears to be difficult when learning single syllables and words with final consonants using the 27 final consonants.

『K-Phonics Hangeul』 is a Korean language learning textbook that combines the 'K-Phonics Hangeul App', which was developed with support from small and medium-sized enterprise R&D funds, with the method of reading individual letters to help students accurately understand the sounds of the first and last consonants of the Korean alphabet and then learn syllables and words.
'While developing the K-Phoenix Korean app and compiling the textbook, we conducted pilot training for multicultural families and foreigners, and as a result, we were able to easily learn the principles of the Korean language. In the opinion of the program developer and author, if we apply the single-letter learning method to the currently common whole-letter learning method, it will be easier to spread the Korean language to multicultural families, foreigners, and children who are encountering it for the first time.
