This book has the following features:


First, this book is divided into two volumes: ‘Vocabulary and Grammar’ and ‘Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing.’
Vocabulary and grammar correspond to knowledge of the Korean language, and after learning the knowledge, the course is structured to learn language functions, namely listening, speaking, reading, and writing, based on that knowledge.
So, it's structured so that you can learn vocabulary and grammar and use them to communicate.


Second, although vocabulary and grammar are considered language knowledge, they were developed with a focus on how they are connected to ‘using Korean’ rather than being learned as knowledge.
Therefore, the usage practice for vocabulary and grammar is structured in stages so that you can practice from easy to difficult.


Third, vocabulary and grammar are divided into 16 lessons, and each lesson consists of approximately 30 vocabulary and expressions and 4 grammar items, so that practice can be completed within 120 or 130 minutes.
Additionally, a comprehensive exercise is included at the end of each lesson to allow you to review the vocabulary and grammar you learned in that lesson.


Fourth, all subjects are organized by topic.
The title of each unit will soon become the topic.
Therefore, vocabulary and grammar are set to best reflect the subject matter, and functions appropriate to this are designed to enable listening, speaking, reading, and writing.


Fifth, we created similar topics for listening, speaking, reading, and writing twice per lesson to enable diverse practice on the topic.
In particular, we have designed a variety of speaking activities to allow learners to practice according to their own interests and passions, including speaking and reading.


Sixth, after the second listening, speaking, reading, and writing, we set up a ‘homework’ to enable integrated function practice.
We also created 'Korean Language and Culture Stories' to enable students to learn about Korean culture related to the characteristics of the Korean language.

Seventh, at the end of each lesson, we have included a ‘self-evaluation’ so that students can check for themselves whether they have achieved the learning objectives of the lesson, including vocabulary and grammar.
