Sunmoon University, with a 30-year tradition of teaching Korean to foreigners, has incorporated its rich field experience into its textbooks, drawing on the research and educational achievements it has accumulated over the years.
Since its opening in 1989, the Sunmoon University Korean Language Education Center has taught Korean to over 13,000 students from 132 countries, making it a renowned international campus among the more than 200 universities in Korea.
Since 2008, it has been recognized as one of the best Korean language education institutions both domestically and internationally, including being designated as a Korean language education training institution that entrusts education to foreign scholarship students (graduate and undergraduate students) invited by the Korean government.


In particular, the newly published global Korean language textbook after COVID-19 researched and analyzed excellent textbooks developed domestically and internationally to date to maximize the effectiveness of language acquisition, and focused on improving communication skills so that learners can learn Korean more easily and enjoyably, tailored to the various purposes and needs of learning Korean.
Additionally, the content is organized around various learning topics in stages to help learners learn Korean more easily and enjoyably.
The newly published global Korean language textbook is structured to enable integrated learning in the four areas of listening, reading, writing, and speaking.


Additionally, it was developed with a focus on learning the vocabulary, grammar, and expressions that foreign learners preparing for the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) must learn.
I hope that through this textbook, foreign learners with various purposes will be able to approach studying Korean a little more easily.
