The newly revised TOPIK Reading (Beginner) is a reading textbook for Korean language learners whose native language is not Korean.
It is designed to prepare you for the reading section of the TOPIK, which has been newly changed since 2014.
Through this book, learners can develop their reading skills by reading various types of texts that appear on the TOPIK, and also solve practice problems by type. In particular, the practice problems and mock tests include English translations of each item along with the correct answers, helping beginner learners, both domestic and international, to understand the problems on their own.

Chapter 1 is designed to help you develop your reading skills through various types of texts that appear in the TOPIK.
It contains various types of reading texts that beginner learners can access, such as 'texts that guide, texts that invite, and texts that express experiences or feelings.'
Additionally, it suggests what to look for primarily in order to accurately understand the text depending on the text type.
Chapter 2 contains practice problems that analyze the functions of the new question frame.
Since July 2014, the new test types have been divided by number and function, so learners can immediately find and solve difficult types of questions and refer to the explanations.
Chapter 3 contains three mock exams with the same structure as the newly revised actual TOPIK, based on practice problems by type.


This book contains a comprehensive review and practice of each question type of the basic TOPIK exam.
Once students feel confident at tackling each question type, they can move on to the three practice tests contained in this book.
This book is a must have for students who wish to perfect their skills on the reading portion of the TOPIK exam.
