Description
Book Introduction
- A word from MD

Positive questioning that determines a child's life“Why can’t I say this to my child?” many parents wonder.
The reason is that what I know does not become 'my words'.
The positive questioning method of Kim Jong-won, a humanities education mentor chosen by 200,000 parents.
Let's read and reread the classics, memorizing them as if we were reciting and copying them.
August 26, 2022. Shin Eun-ji, PD of Home Life
Parents who have read their child's mind well say different things.
“Why can’t I say this to my child?”
Knowing and doing are two different things.
“Why doesn’t the knowledge I have help me raise my child?”
Many parents ask this question.
It's clear that you diligently listen to lectures on child education, watch YouTube videos, and read books, but when the time comes, you end up not being able to use what you've learned and just do what you always did.
What on earth could be the problem?
It is 'words'.
The biggest reason I can't use the childcare knowledge I've accumulated over time when it's really needed is because what I know hasn't become 'my words.'
To become 'my words', I first need to spend time thinking about the meaning of those words, and I need time to practice telling my child what I know, even if it feels awkward.
If you do that, there will come a day when you can naturally say what you know at a crucial and absolutely necessary moment.
Author Kim Jong-won, a mentor in humanities child education chosen by 200,000 parents in Korea, has carefully compiled the appropriate words for parents to say to their children in various situations they may encounter in one volume, "Parents' Words."
'Words from parents that help children realize their own mistakes.'
Parents need to practice using words that are 'my words' right now, such as 'words that raise a child's low self-esteem', 'words for a child who is worried about not having friends', 'words that lead a child into the world of study', and 'words from parents that erase violent and rough tendencies'.
If love and knowledge are blood, then parents' words are the conduits that help that blood flow.
If parents just change their words a little, everything about their child will change miraculously and beautifully.
