English transcription book for a better me than yesterday
Description
Book Introduction
The surest way to enjoy and immerse yourself in English is through transcription.
Every year, at the start of the new year, I make sure to include English study in my schedule.
I always resolve and plan, but why does studying English always feel difficult and often fail? Tyler, a so-called language prodigy, said, "The most important part of language is not learning, but acquiring."
The most effective way to acquire English is to frequently and repeatedly create an environment where you are naturally exposed to English, rather than approaching it through studying.
In that sense, reading, writing, and thinking about meaningful English sentences every day will be the most reliable and easiest way to acquire English.
This book is written for those who know that copying is a good method, but are hesitant to start because they have no idea which book to copy or how to do it.
It's not just a collection of easy-to-read and easy-to-write quotes, but also includes practical English study methods from 'Bookkit,' the Instagram-worthy book club that's causing a sensation.
We teach you how to build your English skills while enjoying it in your daily life using trendy books and media, as well as efficient transcription methods.

Into the book
The act of writing a sentence by hand is not simply a matter of transferring letters.
The magic of transcribing passages, where the meaning of the sentences seeps into your heart, unfamiliar words become familiar to your fingertips, and before you know it, even the complicated thoughts in your head are organized one by one.
Strangely enough, when I start my morning by writing out English sentences, my mind feels much lighter.
It's as if the positive messages and emotions in the sentences changed my attitude towards the day.
--- p.4
“Until we have begun to go without them, we fail to realize how unnecessary many things are.” (Seneca, 〈Letters from a Stoic〉)
We don't realize how unnecessary things are until we give them up.
--- p.138
Tip) Keeping your promises is an important way to build confidence and a sense of accomplishment.
When we keep even the smallest promises, we gain confidence in ourselves and the strength to move forward in a better direction.
--- p.140
Looking back, mistakes didn't make me smaller, but rather served as a stepping stone to help me gain greater courage.
Have you ever been afraid of making mistakes while studying English? If so, I recommend keeping a mistake notebook.
Learning and growing from mistakes is the most effective way to improve your English skills.
--- p.146

--- p.204
Today's Question
“What do you tell yourself when things don’t go as planned?”
What do you tell yourself when things don't go as planned?
Tip) Life is not a perfect straight line, but a journey of finding direction, and sometimes, unexpected paths lead to greater growth.

Publisher's Review
English transcription is not just copying.
This book introduces transcription as a method to awaken English sense through the process of reading, writing, asking questions, and answering, rather than simply copying English sentences.
Invest just 5-10 minutes a day to read and follow along with the 'Sentence of the Day'.
By repeating this process, your vocabulary will naturally improve and you will develop a sense of sentence structure.
Additionally, the process of writing down answers in the 'Question of the Day' corner becomes an important point in internalizing the sentences.
The moment you put it into practice is small and trivial, but if you accumulate it, it can bring about a huge change in your English skills.
Peace of mind with an English routine you can practice anytime, anywhere.
Transcription is a natural way to learn English without a set time or place.
Use your notebook as a morning journal, like writing your morning pages, or as a quick way to organize your day before bed. Simply skimming through the "Question of the Day" and "Sample Answers from the Bookkit" at the top of each page will help you organize your thoughts and feelings, creating peace of mind.
100 Sentences That Will Make Your Life Stronger
The book contains 100 sentences selected from various fields such as literature, essays, and philosophy.
Rather than just simple sentences, it is composed of sentences that contain life insights and comfort, so that you can have time to reflect on your life beyond learning English while transcribing.
By transcribing one sentence a day, you will have the opportunity to discover life sentences along with English.
