English Phrasal Verbs Lesson to Listen and Speak Like a Native
Description
Book Introduction
English is completed with verbs The author has met learners who speak English naturally and those who convey only basic meaning. There are several reasons for this difference, but I think one of the important factors is the 'appropriate use of verbs.' Native speakers use phrasal verbs more than individual verbs in everyday life. The reason why English learners cannot advance from beginner to intermediate or from intermediate to advanced is because they lack the ability to use phrasal verbs. Studying English requires consistency and is difficult to do alone, but these days, thanks to various media, studying alone is possible. English verbs can be mastered on your own, but simply memorizing their meanings is not effective. The most effective way is to understand the meaning of the verb and use it in a variety of contexts. Because English is not something you know, it's something you do. This book analyzes native speaker conversation patterns to select the most frequently used verbs, allowing you to learn and use them like a native speaker. Previously, there was no book that could help English learners properly internalize phrasal verbs, but this book will perfectly satisfy that need. |

Into the book
1.
Listen to the basic explanation
In addition to meaning 'to cut', 'cut' also means 'to reduce'.
If you cut a long string, its length will decrease, right? It's easy to remember if you think of it this way.
Usually, the word 'back' is added to the end to clearly mean 'reduce'.
Cut back on is used when specifying the target to be reduced, and when the target is clear in the context, cut back alone is sufficient.
This expression is especially often used when talking about New Year's resolutions.
For example, when you decide to cut back on junk food in the new year, you might say, “I'm trying to cut back on eating junk food.”
Please note that cut back is different from give up, which is quitting completely.
For example, you can think of it as the difference between cutting down on cigarettes and quitting smoking.

Publisher's Review
This book is not just another verb book.
This is a project that makes it actually usable.
The key to memorizing verbs is ‘how often you look at them again.’
No one can memorize verbs in one go.
Even if you have seen it once, the key to memorizing verbs is actually how often you see it.
If you plan to review the material multiple times within a set timeframe, the content should be optimized so that the second viewing feels like the first time you're studying it.
The time we have is limited.
How many hours a day can a student or working adult studying verbs consistently commit to? I think about an hour is realistic.
So, you need to be able to learn verbs in various non-causal contexts so that you can fill in the frequency within them.
This book is the solution to achieving that goal.
It will serve as a tool to help you memorize verbs efficiently.
