Book Introduction
“Sir, haven’t you ever done something that deserved death?”
Serial killer or superhero?

▶8-part series airs on Netflix on February 9, 2024!

Little Bee's Death Trilogy, Volume 1, "Murderer o Trouble"
Collectible hardcover, single-volume complete edition (3 volumes combined)

The protagonist, Lee Tang, an ordinary college student who can be seen anywhere, gets into an argument with a rude customer while working part-time at a convenience store at night and ends up killing him by swinging a hammer without realizing it.
Lee Tang, who was suffering from the guilt and fear of murder, one day finds out that the person he killed was a serial killer who had committed acts “worthy of death.” He gradually realizes that he has a supernatural ability to identify such “deserving death” people.
And he becomes a superhero, or rather a dark hero, who punishes such people...

Contrary to his name, detective Nan-Gam, who has a 'good intuition', instinctively smells the scent of a murderer in Lee Tang and begins investigating his surroundings.
But some 'invisible force' prevents him from approaching the truth.
In a reality where people were dying one by one, there was nothing detective Nan-gam could do.
And then another serial killer appears in such a predicament…

Songchon believes himself to be a dark hero.
Songchon, who uses his excellent information gathering and intuition as a former police officer to find and kill those who “deserve to die,” unfortunately does not have the instinctive discernment that Lee Tang has, so he tries to find his target before Lee Tang and commit murder.

Publisher's Review
Naver Webtoon Rating 9.9 Legendary Webtoon!
A comic version of "Crime and Punishment in the 21st Century," captured in four simple panels.

From the time 『Murderer's Difficulty』 was serialized on Naver, the drawings were cute, but the content and direction were quite hardcore.
In the process of depicting the psychology of the protagonist Lee Tang and those around him as he becomes caught up in a chain of serial murders, the author demonstrates outstanding directing and storytelling skills.
Through meticulous calculations in terms of quantity and direction, extreme storytelling was realized.
Through this, it presents a deep sense of problem through calculated cartoon production, encouraging readers to embark on this exploration together.

Lee Tang and the characters around him are all depicted in a cute manner, allowing readers to accept the serious content of the work without any resistance.
The cute characters made the story easy to approach and allowed for a deeper understanding of the work's complex themes and psychological changes.

To you
Who deserves to die?

A series of events unfolding in an unexpected setting, and with each twist of events, the dynamics of good and evil are reversed, challenging readers' firm beliefs about the concept of justice.
From the moment Lee Tang commits his first murder, his emotions and logic constantly clash, creating a shaky situation.

As Lee Tang first feels guilt after committing murder, and as that guilt gradually fades, readers are confronted with the author's weighty questions.
The question is, “If the person I killed turns out to be a serial killer who deserved to die, can this murder be justified?”
The moment he realizes that the person he killed was a serial killer, his guilt shifts from the guilt that had been tormenting him to a justified murder, or a murder that is a punishment for his sin.

Lee Tang poses the same question to his readers.
If I were in that situation, how would I have acted? If the person I killed was a notorious serial killer, am I truly guilty? Or is that a different form of justice? This work offers readers a new perspective and shakes their worldview.

Readers also change.
By viewing Lee Tang's murder not simply as a crime, but by considering the complex emotions and logic behind it, as well as the special circumstances under which the incident occurred, the work generates endless discourse.
