Into the book
It's okay even if there's no reason.
Let's give it a try, that'll be enough.
I think drawing is beneficial to people, but it can also be painful for some people.
Then you can quit at any time.
Don't worry.
That's why hobbies are good.
Even if you give up, it won't hurt.

---pp.98~99

All of the members here now have come here after struggling with their own lives.
So, just don't fight here.
From the moment you open this door and come in, forget everything and just draw and go back.
That's all I ask of you, my members.

---pp.105~106

The relationship between 'effort and result' is like rolling a dice.
A polyhedral die that gives you one chance to roll if you try hard enough.
Even if you put in 100 efforts, you can still get 1.

---p.110

Why did that story suddenly come to mind?
The story goes that if you catch a falling flower petal, you will have good luck, so he ran around under the tree all day, but when he got tired and gave up and went home, there was a flower petal on his shoulder.
---pp.149-150

When deciding on a location, you must also create a 'chaos drawer'.
A drawer for storing things that you just can't seem to find a place for.
A kind of temporary shelter.
If you don't know, just put it there and you're done.

---p.197

If you try to make everything fit in its place, people will go crazy.

---p.198

If I protect my work, will my work protect me?
Will you give me a seat even when I can't prove myself?
Those who cannot ask questions have no choice but to do what they can.

---pp.206~208

Still, I will try my best until the end, teacher.
Effort is like rolling the dice, you never know what will come out, but one thing is certain.
If you don't try, nothing will come out.

---pp.252~255

Publisher's Review
Nanda's latest work, "Acoustic Life"

“Hobbies only make people dull.”
The story of a workaholic manager who hates hobbies and survives the endless hobby hell.

Dotori Cultural Center, average age of users is 70 years old.
A peaceful place filled with the scent of ink on Mondays and the sound of funky town on Saturdays.
Someone has infiltrated this place with a secret mission… Universe Group's promising talent, Manager Ko Du-ri, infiltrates the Dotori Cultural Center, a 'holy land of hobbies', to ensure the success of the group's ambitious project, 'The Eureka'.
His goal is to obtain consent to transfer the property from the four owners of the 'The Eureka' site and students at the cultural center.
The first target is Jeong Jung-sun of the Sagunja classroom.
Although he is a workaholic and hates hobbies, he enrolls in the Sagunja class with the sole purpose of approaching Jungjoong...

"Acorn Culture Center" is the story of a workaholic manager who comes to destroy the "Acorn Culture Center" for the success of a company project, and the slightly strange and amusing middle-aged men who are neither particularly kind nor wise but end up protecting it.
This is a new full-length work by Nanda, the author of 『Acoustic Life』, which has been published every Wednesday on [Kakao Webtoon] since October 2021.

Chief Go Du-ri's first mission,
Jeong Jung-sun, aka, a veteran of the Four Gentlemen Classroom
Reveal the secrets of Laura's members!

"Acorn Cultural Center" is the first original story presented by author Nanda.
Although he published 『Until I Was Born』 in 2014, this is his first full-length novel that has been serialized for over a year since 『Acoustic Life』.
Having already earned a reputation as the "strongest in daily life comics" with "Acoustic Life," he has chosen a new challenge with his next work, proving his undeniable storyteller skills.

"Acorn Culture Center" is centered around the main character, Ko Du-ri, and unfolds through episodes of the four students at the Acorn Culture Center who become his targets.
The main character of Volume 1 is Jeong Jung-sun, a member of the Sagunja Classroom.
At the age of 68, he is the director of a women's hospital. For some reason, he has been attending the Sagunja class for two years under the pen name 'Laura', keeping his distance from other members.
Doo-ri struggles to break down the wall of Jung-joong who refuses to give her side, and finally gets one step closer to his secret.

Come visit the hot place for middle-aged people, the ‘Dotori Cultural Center’!

As can be seen from the setting of the 'Acorn Cultural Center', where the average age of the members is 70, the central characters of 'Acorn Cultural Center' are middle-aged people.
If you think about it, the elderly are just as natural as the young, but it was an uncommon setting in webtoons.
Uncommon materials, because they are uncommon, can become unique and strong depending on how they are handled.
The seasoned writer Nanda first arouses curiosity through Goduri about why they came to the Acorn Cultural Center, and then naturally unfolds their stories.
Nanda, who has been serializing daily life comics for over ten years, has sharp and piercing expressions that penetrate life, such as the metaphor of 'Dice' and 'Drawer of Chaos' about effort and results, and adds depth and fun to the story.

At the Dotori Cultural Center, in addition to the elderly, people of all ages, including office workers, housewives, and young people, visit for their own reasons.
Although it may seem peaceful on the outside, those who come here are actually struggling in the battlefield of their own lives.
On the battlefield, it's hard to reveal your weaknesses, but when you're absorbed in a hobby, you can let down all your guard.
This place, where ordinary people gather together, enjoy a common hobby, and take a breather, may be the most humane place.

Just as a small acorn sprouts and grows into a huge tree, it may be surprisingly small things that support our lives.
While enjoying a hobby may seem like a waste of life with no results to some, to the person involved, it is a pickling process that protects their life.

Including the appendix comic "Nanda's Nine-Four-Eyed Words"
Limited quantity free gift 'Goal Tracker Set'

Author Nanda put a lot of effort into publishing this book.
In the process of converting the scroll serial manuscript into a format manuscript, a large number of illustrations were revised and meticulous editing was done to improve readability.
At the end of the book, a supplementary comic book, "Nanda's Nine-Four-Self Story," which can only be found in the single volume, is included, which tells not only episodes from the hiatus but also the behind-the-scenes story of the serialization of "Domunsen" and the story behind the creation of the character Jeong Jung-sun.
This will be a very welcome page for readers who miss the vibe of 『Acoustic Life』.
To commemorate the publication, Munhakdongne is producing and giving away a limited quantity of 'Goal Tracker Set' and 'KakaoTalk Theme'.
