A child whose communication with peers increases after entering school.
Parents cannot solve the difficulties their children face in school and with friends.
Children must learn to maintain their self-esteem and express their thoughts intelligently, without being swayed by others in any situation.
Speech expert and bestselling author of "How to Talk to Adults," Jeongmin Lim, proposes a customized conversation method that applies the "Personality Type Egogram" for the first time in Korea.
Shy, outgoing, cheerful, or prickly and aggressive… Diagnose your child's personality type and find effective speaking strategies that suit them.
By understanding the personalities of those who are similar or different from themselves, children can communicate more effectively and form friendships.

Through the included egogram diagnostic chart and analysis sheet, you can find out which of the five personality characters your child needs to strengthen the most: ‘Fierce, Tolerant, Calm, Honest, and Nodding.’
And you will learn how to express your thoughts by choosing the appropriate character for each situation through cartoons of 46 different conversation situations that commonly occur between friends at school.
If you practice saying your key lines out loud, you will be able to say what you want to say clearly and without being flustered in any situation.
Now, even speaking is tailored to your child's personality! Discover personalized solutions for your child's school life and friendships.

Publisher's Review
Situational Conversation Skills: Understanding Five Personality Characters

There are many moments when I worry about what to say to a friend who is always picking on me, a friend who secretly asks me to buy things for him, or a friend who confesses his feelings for me.
In this book, you will practice conveying what you want to say more effectively by choosing the appropriate character for each situation among the five personality characters: Hwa-geun-i, To-yong-i, Calm-i, Honest-i, and Nod-i.
For example, when exchanging opinions with several people, speak with a calm and composed attitude, when someone is rude, speak with a firm and fiery temper, and when a friend needs empathy, speak with a considerate and tolerant attitude.
Remember that being kind and nice isn't always the right answer!

Practice speaking with vivid dialogue that can be used in real life.

You can't make the lines your own just by reading them with your eyes.
This book's unique speaking solution is to actually speak out loud! Observe carefully how the cartoon characters speak, and imagine yourself as each character, repeating key lines over and over again.
It is only effective if you practice as if it were a real-life situation.
For example, Hwa-geun's line, "Don't be a pickpocket!" is said with a serious expression and firm tone of voice, while Nod-gi's line, "If you have any complaints, tell me." is said with a cautious attitude and a nodding tone of voice.

From broadening your thinking to speaking coaching based on your personality type.

'Violence, nickname, complex, taste, rejection, stubbornness, belief... ...' We've included questions worth thinking about in relation to keywords for each situation.
By organizing my thoughts on various topics, I'll be able to better convey my opinions when I have a conversation about them. Two appendices are included at the end of the book.
First, we will introduce words and actions to strengthen the personality character with the lowest score in the egogram diagnosis. If you do not practice regularly, you will not be able to immediately say the appropriate words when you need to communicate using that character.
Second, I've organized a daily one-word practice for each personality type.
Read along, recalling each situation.
