Tink fumbled through the sentence written at the top of the map.
“In the immortal words of Roschein Pstein, ‘If anyone looks at this map without permission, he will surely meet a cruel death.
If not, I swear I will cut off one or two of his fingers myself.
“You can cut three.”
He was so surprised by those words that he clasped his hands together and the scroll rolled back up.
Tink unrolled the scroll again with trembling hands.

Dugtown, located on the north bank of the Black River, was Torborough's unsightly neighbor.
The old, dirty buildings in the city center were like a maze, full of beggars and thieves.
Noam was loath to come this far for such a brief report, but it did at least give him a few days to eat and drink in Dugtown, which somewhat alleviated his irritation.

“There is news from Srog Castle.”
Noam approached the commander-in-chief, hoping he wouldn't take too long.
In my head, I was picturing the ravishingly dirty alleys of downtown Dougtown.
