You may be wondering what image comes to mind when you see the title, which seems to be taken from one of our country's most famous math textbooks.
Are you suggesting that music is the opposite of mathematics, which offers a wealth of concepts and principles so clear they can be memorized? Indeed, music presents numerous challenging conceptualizations, and this difficulty extends to critics as well as the average music listener. Therefore, it's difficult for anyone to properly critique or use the numerous music writings that are merely statements of taste rather than critiques as a springboard for further analysis.
Aren't we often excluding music from the subject of criticism, fearing that it might be a denial of taste, or that it might be a Pandora's box that is difficult to close once we start digging into it?

At least, the author of this book, Jeon Dae-han, says that many things that appear to be 'non-concepts' can actually become 'concepts' when they pass through the eyes, head, and hands that seek to clarify them.
I tried and practiced it starting in 2020.
As a result, I realized that there is a principle that can make it happen, and that principle is actually closer to an attitude.
Once you understand the principle, you may find it no longer comfortable or enjoyable to listen to music the way you used to, by talking in generalities or putting serious discussions on the back burner.
This principle was visualized by graphic designer Jiho Park, and the cartoonist Silky dressed up the form created in this way.
