Jesus' companionship, only faith
Description
Book Introduction
“Just believe that the Lord is with you!!”
True faith is a walk with the invisible Jesus.
Intimate companionship is enjoyed only through faith.
Pastor Yoo Ki-seong's journey of holding on to the reality of Jesus' companionship through faith.
This book emphasizes that a life with Jesus is not about effort, but about faith.
If we believe that Jesus already lives within us, walking with Him becomes natural, and we can live a life of walking with Jesus only through faith.
However, many people still complain that their walk with Jesus is difficult, that writing a journal of their walk with Jesus is difficult, that it is burdensome, and that they feel like they will not be able to finish it.
At such times, the author repeatedly exclaims, “Just believe” that Jesus is with us now.
A life of walking with Jesus is not something achieved through piety, determination, will, or effort, nor does it require great spirituality. Rather, it is an essential Christian life that enjoys the grace of relationship and the reality of intimate companionship that comes from believing that Jesus dwells in my heart.
Through this book, I hope you will once again challenge yourself to live a life of grace, looking to the Lord with faith every day and walking with Him.

Into the book
If we believe that Jesus is actually living in our hearts now, our walk with the Lord will never be difficult.
Rather, it becomes a happy, grateful, and freeing thing.
But if you don't believe that fact, no matter how good the training is, it becomes burdensome and forced.
Just as forgiveness of sins and justification are given entirely by faith, so too is an intimate walk with Jesus a grace enjoyed by faith.
All you have to do is believe.
--- p.11
If you truly believe that Jesus is in you, you cannot deny His love under any circumstances.
Even when difficulties arise, we do not doubt God's love, but rather ask about the meaning contained within it.
So I encourage you to keep a journal of your daily walk with the Lord.
Be conscious of the fact that the Lord is within you and live always looking to Him.
If you live like that, you will be able to stand firm and be confident that God loves you no matter what the circumstances.
--- p.33
What did we do when we received forgiveness of sins? We did nothing.
I just believed that Jesus forgave all our sins on the cross.
If receiving atonement is so simple, how much simpler would it be to escape spiritual stagnation? It's because we struggle to break free from stagnation that it feels more difficult, a burden.
--- p.51
There is only one standard for distinguishing between safe and dangerous areas.
The question is whether or not you will continue to look to God.
He said that a safe zone where you don't have to look to God is a spiritually dangerous zone, and a dangerous zone where you have to look only to God is a spiritually safe zone.
If we want to experience the living God, we must not settle but move forward to where God wants us to be, even where there is danger.
People who cannot overcome their limitations because of fear may say they believe in God, but they cannot actually live a vivid experience of God.
--- p.76
The most amazing blessing we have is a life of walking with the Lord.
To do this, we must live with God's will clearly in our hearts and minds.
It is only following the Lord.
The Lord also said to Peter and his disciples, “Follow me.”
To simply follow the Lord, that is the calling of a disciple.
From the moment we believe in the Lord, we too begin to live a life of following only Jesus.
--- p.133
Actions prove faith.
Faith moves people.
Therefore, the life and actions of those who believe in Jesus cannot but be different from those of people in the world.
People in the world will not understand why we spend precious time going to church to worship and why we go out to pray even when we are tired.
But we do this because we believe in God, we believe in the power of prayer, and we believe that the Lord is with us.
--- p.190
Faith may not seem like much on the outside.
However, God's work only takes place through those who believe in God, believe in Jesus who is within them, and believe that there is a kingdom of God.
So, isn't that a great thing? Heavenly joy, heavenly protection, heavenly praise, glory, and honor are given only to those who have faith.
--- p.205
Some people are amazed to hear that Jesus is with them now, as if they are hearing it for the first time.
Every time that happens, I feel sad.
Faith is not something that ends with a single decision, but must be renewed and continue to grow every day.
If you started with the faith of atonement, you must now grow to the level of faith that walks with Jesus.
We must die with Jesus and now begin to live with Him.

Publisher's Review
Just believe!!
Enjoy a life of faith with Jesus.
When I encourage people to live a life of close companionship with Jesus by writing a journal of their walk with Jesus, many people respond like this.
“I’ll start, but I don’t know if I can finish.” This response is often due to a misunderstanding of “walking with Jesus” as a matter of determination and effort, as if it were training to live more devoutly.
But after living a life with Jesus for the past 16 years, I have come to a clear realization.
The point is that walking with Jesus is not a matter of effort, but a matter of faith.
Of course, effort is important, but the key is belief.
“100% faith, only faith!” That’s how crucial faith is.
Just as forgiveness of sins and justification are given entirely by faith, so too is an intimate walk with Jesus a grace enjoyed by faith.
All you have to do is believe.
What a simple yet astonishing truth! A life with Jesus is a blessed path open to all.
You just have to believe.
This book is a journey of restoration of that faith.
This is a story of broken faith being restored and holding on to the 'reality of walking with Jesus' by faith, living this moment with Jesus.
This will be a journey to recapture the word "faith," which we use so often, and to deeply ask questions like, "Do I truly believe in Jesus?" and "How is that faith changing my life?"
I sincerely hope that through this book, you too will reflect on your own faith and move forward on the path of walking more deeply with the Lord.
Faith can heal.
And only by faith can we live a life walking with Jesus.
Now, wouldn't you like to walk that journey together?
