Description
Book Introduction
“There is a purpose for calling me, who is weak!”
He placed the precious gospel within me, who was as fragile as a clay vessel.
Even if you are fragile and easily broken, there is no need to despair.
The Lord has a plan for me!
Even if I collapse, even if I fall

Into the book
Contrary to worldly wisdom or our expectations, God did not put the wonderful “gospel of the glory of Christ” in a sturdy, fancy, and expensive vessel.
Rather, He placed this ‘treasure’ in ‘earthen vessels’ like ours.
--- p.22
The sufferings of this present time are preparing for the glory of the future.
The more you serve the Lord and suffer for your health, the more your glory that day will be special. The more you dedicate yourself to the gospel and suffer for your material needs, the more your glory that day will be special. The more you work for the expansion of the kingdom of God and suffer persecution, the more your glory that day will be special.
--- p.38
Do you love the Lord? Can you dare to confess that you love Him? The fact that sinners like us can dare to confess that we love God is proof that God has called us.
No one can come to the Lord unless the Lord calls him.
--- p.50
True spiritual healing, growth, transformation, blessing, and renewal can never be achieved apart from the Lord.
New vitality can never be realized unless the glory and presence of the Lord return.
--- p.61
Now, we must restore the glory of the Lord.
We must long for the presence of the Lord.
We must thirst for the face of the Lord.
We must risk our lives for fellowship with the Lord.
Then living water will flow out from within me, not only saving me, but also forming a river through me and transforming the nations.
--- p.73
What the Lord wants most from us is to love Him.
This is our duty that never changes no matter how much the times change, and it is the reason for our existence that never declines no matter how old we become.
It is a sacred mission given to us to love the Lord more than before as time passes, and it is the work of our lives to love the Lord more than yesterday even as the world passes away.
--- p.103
All sins, big or small, are forgiven by God's grace.
All sins, big or small, are forgiven through Jesus' sacrifice.
--- p.116
The happiness promised by the gospel does not prioritize changes in circumstances.
Prioritize the change of mind.
Therefore, we are required to realize that these suffocating and stifling times are actually opportunities to advance toward the Lord.
If you look at everything from this perspective, there's nothing to complain about today.
--- p.138
Suffering is a time to focus on God.
Even though the Lord's voice is not clearly heard and the Lord's face is not clearly visible.
I hope you remember that suffering is not a time to listen to human voices.
--- p.156
If God protects those who fear Him to this extent, there is no reason why we should not entrust our fate to Him.
Young lions may lack and hunger, but those who seek the Lord will not lack any good thing!
--- p.184
I hope that we can move towards this place of gratitude and rest, and thus towards a place of true worship.
I pray that we may become 'immortal preachers' whom the Lord raises up and enables to move forward even in the worsening reality of our times.
--- p.201
Living by faith in this day and age is by no means an easy task.
But where sin abounds, grace abounds all the more.
The more sin abounds in this land, the greater will be the grace the Lord will pour out upon the remnant of His people.
Rather, He placed this ‘treasure’ in ‘earthen vessels’ like ours.

Publisher's Review
The immortal gospel is contained in us like earthen vessels.
As children of God, we have been given the calling to spread the gospel.
We have a responsibility to spread the good news of the beauty of Christ.
However, we are like earthen vessels, infinitely weak both spiritually and physically, and these limitations make it difficult to spread the gospel.
Why did God entrust the gospel to us, despite our weaknesses? The author explains that our weaknesses are not an obstacle to God, but rather a qualification.
God did not choose us in spite of our weaknesses, but because of our weaknesses.
Because the true value of the gospel can only be revealed through our weaknesses.
Many of God's children are discouraged by their own weaknesses.
However, the author conveys God's comfort, saying there is no need to be discouraged.
Even though we are weak, the gospel within us is immortal.
We break and fall, but God, who is with us, raises us up again.
Therefore, we can once again take heart and move forward as 'immortal preachers' who bear the burden of the Lord's gospel.
We are weak, but
The gospel within us cannot be stopped by anyone!
We are clay vessels.
So it gets old.
It's getting worse.
Also fragile.
It is fragile, easily hit and cracked.
Easily hurt and in pain.
So sometimes I just sit there and can't get up for a long time.
Why did God place the gospel within us, earthen vessels? Why did God entrust us, weak, wretched, and insufficient, with the task of spreading the gospel?
We have this treasure in jars of clay, because the all-surpassing power belongs to God.
So that we may know that we do not have it. 2 Corinthians 4:7
The reason the treasure was given in jars of clay was to show that the all-surpassing power belongs to God, not to us.
That is, our weaknesses are not obstacles, but rather a qualification for our being chosen by God.
The important thing is that no one and nothing can stop God.
No one can stop us who have the immortal gospel!
