40-day prayer of resolution for the flesh to die and the spirit to live
40-day prayer of resolution for the flesh to die and the spirit to live
Description
Book Introduction
From ‘Prayer that Must Be Done’ to ‘Prayer that Wants to Be Done’
From a burdensome time to an 'anticipated time'
Move from greedy prayers to powerful 'spiritual prayers'!

I read carefully from Genesis and organized the words related to the 40 days.
Then I found something in common.
The point was that 40 days was the 'time when the flesh dies and the spirit lives.'
The Lord, who said that a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years are like a day (2 Peter 3:8), invited us, who live in Chronos, the time of the soul and body, to Kairos, the time of the spirit, and renewed us.
It was a time of resurrection when the soul and body that lived according to the desires of sin died on the cross and we came to live according to the Holy Spirit, the spirit of Jesus.
As I was finishing reading the Bible, something amazing happened.
Suddenly, a clear phrase appeared before my eyes.
Each letter appeared clearly, as if the Lord were typing.
“Forty days when the flesh dies and the spirit lives.”

Into the book
This book is a '40-day prayer meditation book' that helps you meditate and pray on the heart of God the Father as expressed in the Bible for 40 days.
Each of us will have our own prayer requests, but first, through meeting the Lord face to face and learning His heart, we will experience the grace of having our life's problems naturally resolved.

--- p.8

Sometimes, we are hit with a 'sudden shock' in our lives.
The reality felt by the five senses seems so big, and one feels infinitely small.
In such cases, you must quickly put on the ‘glasses of the Word.’
We must wear the ‘glasses of faith’ so that the words become reality.
We must not allow our false fleshly thoughts to overcome our spiritual thoughts.
Like Caleb, let us look at life through the lens of God's Word.
As he said, the Father will make a way for us.

--- p.33

Sometimes, after finishing a prayer of determination, we find ourselves drifting further away from the Lord than before because our prayers are not answered.
Who did he meet at the prayer meeting? What did he pray for? Let's pray first that my flesh dies and my spirit comes to life.
Even if life goes differently than we hoped, let us hope that this will be a time when we discover the Lord's deeper and better will that we were not aware of.

--- p.47

When we realize that our God is the provider of the things we could not obtain through our own efforts, paradoxically, the strength in our hands that were holding them loosens.
If my father owns everything, I don't have to struggle to own even one more thing.
Rather, we learn and follow the things that our father pays attention to and values.
--- p.98

God the Father has His ears open and His eyes fixed on us so that we can run to Him and talk to Him at any time.
He is infinite in love and power, and He quickly resolves our pain, trials, and misunderstandings.
He has already poured out His immense love through Jesus Christ on the cross.
When we look at Jesus on the cross, no matter what difficulties we face, misunderstandings and fears melt away like snow.

--- p.139

Suffering and poverty can be a blessing in God.
Because a poor and humble heart longs for the Lord.
In fact, being saved through Jesus Christ is in itself an unspeakable miracle and blessing.
Didn't the Lord open my spiritual eyes that were blinded, allow me to believe in Jesus, and make me a child of God?
There is nothing in life that is not a blessing.

--- p.155

When we cleanse ourselves of the fleshly thoughts that clutter our hearts, God's warm presence comes like a ray of light.
The Lord's voice begins to be heard softly.
Peace is rising.
With the eyes and ears of the spirit, we hear and see the living Lord clearly.
Spiritual thoughts that seek the kingdom of God and its righteousness spring up.

--- p.197-198

The “narrow gate” is the “way of the cross,” the way the world does not welcome, the way that our fallen nature does not want to take and cannot take.
But it is a path that can be taken and must be taken through the life of Jesus.
At every moment, we must discern whether the choice before us is the narrow gate that leads to life or the wide gate that leads to destruction.
The narrow gate can only be entered by a spiritual mind that has been born again through Jesus.
--- p.232

Publisher's Review
Complete it to the end and bear fruit for sure
The most biblical and feasible 40-day prayer completion solution

Life's problems are solved in amazing ways! Prayer becomes even deeper!

Life brings difficulties.
Begin to pray with determination.
Repeat your earnest wish.
After a few days, I'll be at a loss for words.
I worry that my prayers will not be answered.
I get more and more caught up in the problem.
I'm getting more and more tired of praying...
If you continue this pattern, you are stuck in 'fleshly prayer'.
Now, let us move on to the ‘spiritual prayer’ of meditating on and receiving the Father’s heart.

Pastor Yoo Ye-il, aka 'Prayer PT', who has helped people who struggled with '10-minute prayer' become experts at praying for an hour through 'Prayer Starter Class for You' and 'Prayer Answer Class for You', has now published a '40-day Prayer Meditation Book' that will help people move from physical prayer to spiritual prayer.
Rather than simply praying for a long time or praying in a hurry to solve a problem, it presents specific methods to consistently pray in a biblical way that pleases God.
Rather than a plain guide asking, "How to pray," it examines "40 days in the Bible," "the fleshly and spiritual people among Bible characters," and "the spiritual people's lifestyle," asks related questions to write prayers, and ultimately leads to proper prayer and reflection.
As the focus of your prayers shifts from the problems of life to the heart of the Father, you will experience the grace of having your prayer requests naturally answered.
