In "The Taste of Tangerines," the story of four children who made a "strange promise" before their third year of middle school, amidst the despair of not being able to find their own voices, is depicted. In this work, the story of the second movement of a mother and daughter's life, brought about by a "strange event," is depicted.
The 'soul change' and 'time slip' settings are a way to break down the misunderstanding between mother and daughter.


The author's keen gaze to understand a being remains the same, but what has changed markedly is that the humorous situations created by the characters who hide their identities and create with those around them, as if turning over a palm, make us giggle repeatedly.
