Prayer to Follow 4: Gratitude
Description
Book Introduction
When you express gratitude, gratitude continues and the door to a blessed life opens.
The fourth in the [Follow-Up Prayer] series: Transforming Your Constitution with Gratitude
If you've ever been ignored when you did someone a kind thing, you'll never want to do them any good again.
Therefore, it is difficult for those who are ungrateful, take things for granted, or always complain to enjoy the blessings.
But if you feel grateful but don't express it, it's no different from not being grateful.
Someone once said that a sincere expression of gratitude makes people want to help more.
Gratitude is the 'reservation for the next blessing'.
When you get a bucket of water, you can pour it out, drink it up, or pour it into a basin to get more water.
The subtitle of the author's first book, 'Follow-up Prayer 1', was 'A prayer that draws up the deepest prayer within me.'
The 21 prayers of thanksgiving in this book and the "My Prayer of Thanksgiving" that you will write yourself can be called "prayer offerings that bring joy and blessings to life."
Part 1 of this book contains advice on gratitude and prayers of thanksgiving, and Part 2 contains 21 prayers of thanksgiving in which we thank God for all the blessings of our daily lives.
Unlike the previous books, which contained 31 prayers that could be read once in a month, this book contains 21 prayers that can be practiced over 21 days, the 'time for habit change', to help you make gratitude a habit.
You can read the prayer text while listening to the related prayer video through the QR code included in the book.

Into the book
All of this, which we have become so accustomed to and taken for granted, is not at all a given.
Each and every one of them is a reason to be grateful.
So the opposite of 'gratitude' is 'taking something for granted'.
Turn the things you take for granted into prayers of gratitude.
--- p.17
Gratitude breeds more gratitude.
There are people who receive God's grace only once, and there are people who receive this grace continuously.
The difference lies in ‘gratitude.’
--- p.25
Perhaps your prayer request is among these.
Even so, not all of these may be prayer topics.
Everyone says life is hard and challenging, but is it really all bad, difficult, and challenging? If we change our perspective, we already have plenty to be thankful for.
--- p.36
The reason why I can come boldly to the Lord even though I am a sinner is
Because I believe that the Lord has forgiven and forgotten everything.
Why do we keep praying even when there is no answer to our prayers?
Because I believe that the Lord's timing is best.
--- p.58-59
I still have many problems, but I am grateful and thankful for the healthy heart that gives me joy.
Thank you for giving me a strong heart that can stand up again without collapsing in the face of hardship.
Thank you for opening my heart's eyes to see you, Lord, even in the midst of the storm.
--- p.73-74
Thanks to my loving family, I learned how to resolve conflicts and forgive.
Because of my family who hurt me, I began to desperately seek God.
I began to rely more on God and became closer to Him.
--- p.100-101
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to fail.
Thank you for giving me the courage to overcome my fears.
Thank you for helping me rise higher through hardship.
I am grateful that I can forget the pain of the past and dream of tomorrow.
--- p.146
Lord, because you were with me
Not only good times, but even times you wish you didn't have
It was an opportunity for me to learn and grow.
I changed more during difficult times than during happy times.
I grew more when things were difficult than when things were comfortable.
--- p.157
Dreams that seem big to me but impossible to me
It is a very small thing in the power of the Lord.
It is only a small part of the Lord's plan.
What is difficult for me is easy for the Lord.
Even if I can't, the Lord can.

Publisher's Review
Now that I can't do anything,
Put the problem down
Start your prayer of thanksgiving!
Last winter, an unexpected guest came to visit me.
It was a hardship.
We have canceled all scheduled meetings and suspended all activities.
There was nothing I could do.
Because it was beyond my ability, I had no choice but to pray to God.
I couldn't sleep at night and fell prostrate before the Lord.
I clung to him and begged for his life.
I cried out desperately for a miracle.
The Lord told me to stop praying about that problem and start praying in gratitude.
It was difficult for me to be told to be thankful when I didn't have anything to be thankful for.
But as I began to fill my prayer time with gratitude, the Lord began to work in ways I could not have imagined.
He made things that seemed impossible happen miraculously.
Now that there is nothing we can do, we must pray.
We must overcome the situation through prayer.
We must move beyond prayers that focus on problems and begin to pray with gratitude.
This book will help you pray.
Through the 21-Day Gratitude Prayer Challenge, you will see the amazing work of God.
I hope that heaven will come to your life as you journey with me on this journey.
