Questions and Answers on Faith
Description
Book Introduction
Time is running out, ask quickly! I'll answer quickly!!
Young Christians' Issues of Dating, Sex, Relationships, Faith, and Sin
Missionary Kim Seon-gyo's simple and accurate message, focused on the essence of Choganda.

"Why should we practice premarital chastity? Why is drinking considered a negative thing? Why should we respect older generations? Why should we accept the selfish MZ generation? Why should we read the Bible?" The author offers refreshing and honest answers to young people who feel lost, unable to freely ask questions and concerns that seem outlandish yet profoundly real.
It also emphasizes that true growth occurs when we reflect on our faith in the midst of life's conflict with the Word, and the grace of experiencing God unfolds.
If you have questions that you are too embarrassed to ask and have kept hidden deep in your heart, I recommend this book to help you break free from your stifling religious life and begin a fun religious life where the Word becomes reality.

Into the book
Forgiveness and love are things that only those who have been forgiven and loved can do.
So we have to approach it this way.
“There are things you can say to a sinner who has received grace, but there are no words he cannot hear.” A sinner who has received grace is someone who should have been treated worse than that.
We must remember this! How wronged would we be? Would we be as wronged as Jesus? "No!"
--- pp.16~17

Remember! There are clear biblical principles.
If I'm reaping the fruits of something, even though I didn't do it from beginning to end, it's because someone planted the seeds.
It may seem like it changed because of me, but in reality, it was because someone had planted the seeds and watered them beforehand.

--- p.24

The most fundamental problem that hinders unity is the arrogance of everyone wanting to be the leader.
The head must be Jesus Christ alone.
Jesus must have all decision-making power and sovereignty.
Under that authority, when every member plays its own role, unity becomes possible and one action is taken.

--- p.38

When desires are not controlled, they cause each other to become exhausted.
So, 1 Corinthians 13 doesn't say, "Love is warm, it's really good, it's really happy," but it starts with, "Love is patient," and ends with, "Love endures all things."
The most important elements needed for true love are patience and self-control.

--- p.70

The current social climate and culture considers the relationship between lovers as that between a married couple.
The marriage rate is also decreasing because things that can only happen between a married couple can happen in a relationship.
Because you can relieve your sexual desires before marriage, so why go through the difficult process of getting married?
Because of that atmosphere, the marriage rate is decreasing, and people say that it is very difficult to maintain premarital chastity while dating.
But you were the one who chose that difficult path.

--- p.82

The power to overcome the temptation of sin does not come from a strong will, but from loving the Lord more and letting Him know that you love Him more, not only to Him but also to those around you.

--- p.99

I don't always find the Bible interesting either.
But it's funny when the Bible's message appears in my life today.
If you believe that the promised things you can enjoy in it actually happen today, you will read the Bible regardless of whether it is fun or not.
So you have to experience it first.
I'm saying that the Bible is really true.

--- p.190

I'm going to be really serious.
Saying that living by faith isn't going well just means that it hasn't worked out until today, but it doesn't mean that it won't work out tomorrow either.
But the problem is that since it didn't work out today, we easily give up and say it won't work out tomorrow either.
The conclusion that it didn't work out today should be a hopeful confession that "You'll make it happen tomorrow," but because it becomes "Even if I believe, it won't work," I lose the courage to get up and try again tomorrow.

--- p.219

When trying to live a life of faith, it is really important to have a direction in which you want the results of your faith to be.
But usually we expect a life that is completely transformed, solid, unshakable, unshakeable, and unfallen.
But the results of faith are not that evident.
It is the Lord who changes things.
So what should we focus on? We should focus on looking at the Lord of faith.

--- p.225

Another reason why it is difficult to obey is because of the misunderstanding that God only commands us to do things we dislike and that God only commands us to do things we fear.
God doesn't ask us to do things we fear or hate.
We mistakenly think we are afraid because He asks us to do something we cannot expect.

--- p.251

In fact, the distinction itself is not difficult.
It's difficult because it's not what I want.
That is why the Lord said, “If you know how to do good and don’t do it, it is sin.”
So, check to see if you are not just passing over the words that have been discerned by saying that you cannot discern them.
It's not that it's difficult because you can't discern, but because you don't want to do what you've discerned, you may be pretending not to understand or discern.
I can't hear you alone.
“Ahhhh…” It could be like this.

--- p.256

So when asked, “Are you happy?” I cried and said, “Yes, I am happy.”
Because you can answer, “My situation is difficult, but that doesn’t mean I’ve lost Jesus,” or “I’m angry now, but I’ve never lost Jesus, who is joy itself.”

--- p.263

There are no conditions for the people God uses.
When God says He will use someone, if you look at it from the perspective that He needs a skilled worker, then of course He will use someone capable.
But God doesn't need workers.
God is already omnipotent.
You said you didn't need any help.
But the reason you use us is because you want to share in the glory.
He called us because he wanted to let us enjoy it too.
--- p.278
