Into the book
The essence of prayer is 'relationship', not a means to obtain something.
Just as when you love someone, you want to be with them longer and talk more, when you love God, you want to stay in His presence longer.
The ultimate goal of prayer is to meet God, the God who wants to have fellowship with me and loves me.
--- p.12
People often misunderstand that we only pray when we have something to pray about.
But I think prayer is not a 'means' to get something, but a 'relationship' itself.
God is someone who always wants to talk and communicate with us.
--- p.60
God hears all our prayers and answers them in unexpected ways.
Looking back, God's ways were often different from my thoughts.
But the unchanging conclusion is that the unexpected method was better for me.
--- p.95
In the meantime, after the problem was resolved, I uploaded a confession of gratitude for the situation.
But God was pleased to offer a confession of thanks in advance, even though the situation had not changed.
And I came to realize the spiritual principle that even realistic situations can be changed according to that belief.
--- pp.123~124
Yes, that's right.
Obedience must not stop halfway.
If you obey to the end, blessings will surely follow.
If we do not give up in the invisible world of faith and obey until the point where blessings are poured out in the visible realm, our God is the one who will surely bear fruit.
--- p.148
Since I realized that the blessings He would give me later were greater than the burden of obedience I had to bear for a while, my absolute obedience to God has become stronger.
Since God the Father, who is faithful, has prepared my path in detail, what could I lack?
Behind absolute obedience there is always God's preparation.
--- pp.169~170
In answer to that prayer, God planned a bigger picture beyond my vision, and He is still working on His unfinished work.
God plans and pours out something better than what we ask for. This is the history that appears when prayers are put into the 'bottle of the Lord' that never pours out.
--- p.176
As we live, there are times when sad things happen even though we pray, and heartbreaking things happen even though we obey.
There comes a time when we live with frustrating questions about things we don't understand.
But even at that moment, God is clearly alive.
God is listening to my prayers.
God is pleased with my prayers.
That is why I never let go of the line of prayer under any circumstances.
--- p.186
Seeing the works of the Lord, it occurred to me that prayer is the most humble expression of all.
A humble person is a person who prays.
When I made the humble confession, “I can’t do it without the Lord,” I realized that I had no choice but to go to the place of prayer.
--- p.225
Some say that the amount of prayer doesn't matter.
right.
Prayers that are spent on a large amount of time without a center may be useless.
However, if you pray with your heart, the more you pray, the more you please the Lord.
What's even more surprising is that the longer you stay in one place and pray, the more you become centered on the Lord.
Just as when you love someone, you want to be with them longer and talk more, when you love God, you want to stay in His presence longer.
The ultimate goal of prayer is to meet God, the God who wants to have fellowship with me and loves me.

Publisher's Review
“I loved praying so much that I didn’t even realize how much time had passed, and when I opened my eyes after praying for a long time, three or four hours had passed in no time.” He experienced the joy of prayer deeply from a young age and, obeying the missionary calling, walked deeply with God in the hottest and coldest places of Africa and Alaska.
This book is a book of prayers in which God allowed him to experience the power of prayer countless times through his missionary work and pastoral ministry.
The more we pray, the more we witness the work of God who remembers and answers our accumulated prayers.
We recommend this book to those who wish to remain in prayer for a long time with the belief that the prayers we offer will never be forgotten, to those who wish to overcome all the problems in life solely through prayer, and to those who desire deeper prayer that allows for longer fellowship with the Lord.
Prayer is not a means, it is a relationship.
When times are tough and difficult, what gives me the most strength is prayer!!
When I was young, I used to sit for hours just because I liked the prayer time itself.
But as time passed and I saw the prayers I had built up back then still being realized and working vividly in my life even after decades, I came to truly feel the power of prayer, and I came to consider prayer time to be the happiest companionship with the Lord.
But first, we must understand the spiritual principles of prayer.
If we do not clearly understand the spiritual principles of prayer, prayer can be dismissed as a religious act of offering devotion to God and making efforts to achieve one's wishes.
No matter how much I pray, if I am not sure who I am, I can stray from the essence of prayer.
Prayer is a relationship, not an act.
The most powerful expression of a reconnected relationship with God is prayer.
Therefore, the essence of prayer is not a means to obtain something.
Just as when you love someone, you want to spend more time with them and talk more, when you love God, you want to stay in His presence longer.
The ultimate goal of prayer is to meet God, the God who wants to have fellowship with me and loves me.
As time passes by when we prostrate ourselves before God, we become closer to Him, come to understand His true nature, experience reality, and ultimately discover the goodness of God that sustains our lives.
