Into the book
Often times, the reason we keep asking God's will is because we want to take the easy way out.
The purpose of pagan religions is to constantly ask God's will so that I can be blessed.
I should ask God's will not because I am more important than God, but because God is more important than me.
When we try to align our steps with God's will, it is often difficult.
You can avoid the unexpected pain that comes from insisting on your own will.
So, don't set your mind in advance and then insist on carrying it out.
---From "Chapter 1: Before Choice and Decision"
Why do I have difficulties when the Lord walks with me? The difficulties I experience in the Lord are beneficial difficulties for me.
No matter how much I pray for the difficulties I face to be removed, if they do not disappear but instead worsen, I must realize that it is God's will for me to endure and overcome these difficulties.
As long as I have faith that the Lord is with me, my journey of faith will continue without interruption.
Because that word is in me and will give me endurance and patience.
---From "Chapter 1: When You Are Getting Farther Away from God, Different from the Beginning"
The world is more concerned with the outcome than the process.
But a believer does not worry about the process or the result.
Because I have faith that God will lead me in the best way, even if the outcome is different from what I expected.
A person with faith is not bound by worries and concerns, whether at the beginning or the end.
In the midst of all the processes, I just put my heart into it.
Always doing your best but not being anxious is the hallmark of a life lived by faith.
We must believe in God with all our heart.
To believe with all my heart is to put on God's character.
---From "Chapter 5: God Does Everything? Then Should I Just Stay Still?"
In my opinion, 'living well' is a life that makes others better off than myself.
Silently helping the weak and the needy, sharing in the joys of our brothers and sisters, and being a neighbor to the marginalized—this is, in fact, a normal life.
It is also the responsibility of Christians to restore the normal order of the world by going against its abnormal order.

Publisher's Review
The force that can counter the gravity of the world is love.
Love doesn't care about cost-effectiveness.
Close your eyes to efficiency.
Jesus decided to love
Instead, he decided to die.
There is a short story by author Lee Cheol-hwan called “The Story of the Ugly Dumpling.”
The owner of a dumpling shop deliberately made dumplings burst to support a poor child who had lost his father and was living with his sick mother. He said, “The dumplings burst today too, so I can’t sell them.
“Hey, take this,” he says.
A Christian should be like someone who makes ugly dumplings.
It's not something that can be served with just plain dumplings.
You could make better dumplings, sell them in bulk at a high price, and use the money to do good deeds, but you don't have to go that far.
The heart that serves a hungry neighbor by making a burst dumpling is a humble and poor heart.
Christian love is the water of life that flows from this heart.
I wish this dry world could be soaked in this deep love.
