In early 2024, the global ICT industry's attention was focused on Las Vegas, where the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) was held.
At the annual CES event, major domestic and international companies particularly emphasized AI (artificial intelligence) as a trigger for future growth in 2024.
The global AI war triggered by Chat GPT is now accelerating a paradigm shift beyond digital transformation DX to the era of artificial intelligence transformation AX, and the era of AX AI Transformation is about to begin in earnest.

Our country has developed very rapidly.
As we change in 100 years, which is one-third the speed that others would take to change over 300 years over three generations, we are all living together in the space and time of the Republic of Korea, from the generation that lived under the light of a kerosene lamp and experienced the Korean War to the Alpha Generation who are mobile natives.


If we look at the space called home, we live in an era where we have moved from sitting in tile-roofed and thatched-roof houses to one- or two-story Western-style houses built with bricks, and now apartments are the norm.
Some people still live analog lives in tile-roofed houses or Western-style houses, while others live in a transitional period where they live in homes equipped with cutting-edge AI.
Home is a very important space, one of the three essential elements for our lives.
As AI technology begins to be introduced into the homes we live in, we are at a critical juncture where a new living environment unlike anything we have seen before will unfold.

While generational lifestyles and understanding of AI technology differ, we will quickly be exposed to and adapt to new housing lifestyles, whether we like it or not.


In line with this trend, I've been planning home services and developing business models for the past 10 years, and I wanted to talk about home space in the AX era.
From analog to smart homes and AI-powered AI homes, I thought it would be a good idea to organize the trends, strategies between companies, and even the UI/UX used by actual users.

We started this project with the intention of sharing information with the general public who are curious about the changes in the home space that will become a new daily routine in the AX era, rather than with experts who directly plan and operate services in the IT industry.
I wrote each chapter in the hope that it would provide readers with an opportunity to see in advance how the new living environment they will encounter in the space called Home will change.


I hope this book will provide an opportunity to reflect on the AI ​​Home of the AX era and to anticipate the new everyday life we ​​will embrace.
