Publisher's Review
A book to help teenagers who feel overwhelmed by the writing they must do.
How to start from one sentence at a time

Most writing guides on the market are for people who are interested in writing and have a strong desire to write well.
However, teenagers are often faced with writing as a given task.
In reality, even though I have a pencil in my hand, I am frustrated because I don't know where to start, and the writing process often feels like a hassle.
This book sympathizes with the feelings of young people who are forced to write, and guides them in writing.
We've made it accessible and relaxing through comics, and we've structured it so that you start with the basics and gradually move on to more in-depth content.

In Part 1, we look at spelling and spacing.
It points out spelling mistakes that are easy to make, such as '어뭐하다', and teaches good spacing rules to remember, such as attaching particles like '이다' and '까지' to the front of words, and spacing out dependent nouns like '것' and '수'.
In Part 2, we think about various expressions and better expressions.
Think about how you can replace the word 'extremely', which is frequently used in various situations, and realize that even if there is no significant difference in meaning, you can create richer sentences by using a good expression that fits the mood.
We also look at ways to write with better ideas, such as changing the word "peach color" to "flesh color" and "baby carriage" to "kids' stroller."
Part 3 teaches you the formulas and secrets of writing, leading you to write a great sentence.
It provides basic but important tips such as 'avoid contradictions and repetitions' and introduces various types of sentences such as enumerations, definitions, metaphors, and comparisons.
Through this process, readers will realize that writing “becomes easy and natural once you learn how to do it, like learning to ride a bike or swim” (p. 252).

Empathy-boosting writing class starting from everyday life
A good life and good sentences are connected.

This book vividly depicts the school life and daily life of the main sisters, one in middle school and the other in elementary school.
Writing classes also increase immersion by basing their lessons on common examples that young people encounter, such as social media group conversations, street banners, flyer advertisements, household newsletters, and notices posted on apartment bulletin boards.
When commenting on a friend's SNS post, instead of using initial consonants like 'ㅇㅈ', 'ㄷㄷㄷ', or 'ㅋㅋㅋ', it is recommended to write more specifically so that your feelings can be conveyed better.
Through the process of middle school student Seoyeon taking on an essay contest, she provides practical writing tips.
It highlights the importance of a first sentence that sparks interest, a topic sentence that reveals the core, and a last sentence that leaves a lasting impression, and guides you through writing sentences with abundant examples.

In his previous work, “The Fundamentals of Writing,” author Kang-ryong Lee conveyed the message that the qualities of good writing, such as honesty, curiosity, humility, consideration for others, and sincerity, are also connected to the qualities of a good life. In this book, he also emphasizes the power of good writing.
He tells young readers that “if you try and practice expressing your thoughts and feelings in the right sentence, you will gain the wisdom to live a happier and more fulfilling life” (p. 6).

I think the starting point of a great life, where you dream great dreams and eventually achieve them, is curiosity.
When you're curious about something or a fun and exciting idea comes to mind, if you don't let that thought slip away, but capture it and write it down in a single sentence, and then consistently work to make that idea a reality, something wonderful will happen later.
As we live, there are times when we face difficult and painful times.
At that time, the sentences we wrote down will hold onto our wavering hearts and courage.
