Into the book
After getting cancer, I realized that I really did 'have' cancer.
People fall prey to cancer like animals fall into a trap.
My heart is on the line, my thoughts are on the line, and my mind is on the line.
It also depends on faith.
I knew I was going to be so full of cancer, so full of cancer all day, I couldn't move.
I found myself suffocating.
I thought that cancer patients and their guardians should be able to breathe easier.
Then I remembered the breath of God.
---p.8
If you cling to God, you live, if you fall away, you die.
No matter how limited and flawed we may be, if we cling to God, who can say, “I created everything,” we can live.
If you stick together, you live, if you fall apart, you die.
---p.26
If we become the masters of our own lives, why do we die and perish? The reason is simple.
Because if we are to be the masters of our own lives and live well by following our own thoughts, our own hearts, and our own desires, we must be omnipotent.
That will do.
But aren't we ignorant and incompetent? An ignorant and incompetent being can become God himself and say, "God, I'll live as I please, so don't interfere."
If you say, “I’ll live my life the way I want,” the result is obvious.
---p.34
If you hold God's hand, you can pass.
We can overcome not by our own strength, but by the strength of God, by the power of the cross, and by the power of resurrection.
---p.42
There may be difficult things to do today.
When hardships continue, there are times when I wonder, 'Has God forgotten me? Has He abandoned me?'
But how could that be?
When we work hard and do difficult things, even if the world doesn't recognize it, God recognizes it.
God will pay for everything.
So there's no need to feel discouraged.
We just have to live happily doing the work that has been entrusted to us.
---p.103
Most of us think that the four directions, east, west, north, south, are our entire life.
Because I live only looking at the ground.
But the stomach was punctured.
We don't really know that the sky is open.
When all sides are blocked, just look up.
The four sides are often blocked, but the top has never been blocked since the creation of the world.
Because God has never rejected us.
---p.238
You should not be afraid of the narrow path.
You shouldn't sin because of the success you see right in front of you.
You should not take the wide road blindly because of the temptations that are right in front of you.
It's a trap.
A trap always has bait.
Anything that seems to be going well in the world, becoming rich, succeeding, or becoming successful is all a bait from Satan.
---p.332
“It would be nice to live in a palace.
What can't be done?
I wish I could live in a palace too.
But I like living in a shack.
“Wherever my Lord Jesus is, there is heaven.”
---p.338
God has his time.
If you believe in God, you must leave everything in God's hands and wait.
God has not forgotten us, but is waiting for the next time.
You are passing this opportunity so that you can use it twice, ten times, a hundred times more effectively.

Publisher's Review
“Even in a difficult world, life in heaven is possible!”
I confess that wherever God is, it is heaven.
Pastor Kim Dong-ho's Genesis Story
Last year, the author started the YouTube channel 'Every Day is a Breathtaking Dawn' after going through the bleak situation of being diagnosed with lung cancer.
This book is a collection of stories from Genesis, and it says that true freedom and peace unfold when we confess God as Lord.
If we believe in and obey God, who created all things in heaven and earth because He loves us so much, we can live a victorious life, always rejoicing and giving thanks in all things, because the Lord never lets go of our hand.
A life that is a blessing to me and a blessing to others is created.
Like Joseph, aren't our lives a series of near-death experiences: falling into a pit, being enslaved, and being unjustly imprisoned? But is our survival simply a matter of luck? The author's confession that last year, when he was diagnosed with cancer, was the happiest year of his life because God was always by his side will powerfully guide readers, each struggling with their own pain and hardship, toward a life in heaven.
