Publisher's Review
“Will the truth I saw shine tomorrow and the day after?”
Resonant voices that do not turn a blind eye to injustice

"The Truth I Will Tell Tomorrow," which opens the collection of short stories, deals with a timely and problematic topic.
The main character, Se-ah, is a third-year high school student who has admired Mr. Im for a long time.
Mr. Lim is an adult who gave great comfort to Se-ah when she was poor and in difficult circumstances.
Then one day, a post exposing sexual harassment was posted on social media, and Mr. Lim was identified as the suspect.
The only evidence that Mr. Lim is not the culprit is the testimony of Se-ah, who was in the counseling room that day.
What choice will Seah make in this precarious situation? Amidst the rise of the School Me Too movement among teenagers as a major social issue, this is a masterful piece that prompts reflection on the truth within lies, and the meaning of sin and repentance.
Like the protagonist of "The Truth I Will Tell Tomorrow," this collection of short stories features young protagonists who struggle with the pain of truth without turning away from it.
"Peace the Size of a Palm" features a brother who refuses military service due to his belief that he cannot bear arms, and 'I' who cannot understand his brother.
However, after unintentionally becoming entangled with a bullied child at school, 'I' finally opens my eyes to the problem of violence surrounding me and writes a letter to my older brother.
This is a moving work, the true voice of 'I' who took up the pen in search of the light of peace.
"What Happened That Night" features the protagonist, Myoseong, who witnesses a man's suspicious behavior on a night street.
Myosung reports the man to the police, but his righteous actions face unexpected external pressure.
The courageous actions displayed by Myosung make the reader think about what a truly great adult is.

Exciting composition, fast-paced sentences
The stage has expanded from school to foreign countries.
A broader and deeper story

Another notable aspect of "The Truth I Will Tell Tomorrow" is that it broadens the horizons of the story by depicting events set outside of school, the main stage for youth.
The second included work, "Shining Traces," is a story about Yang-ho, who goes on a trip to Europe with his mother and suddenly becomes a hostage.
The story is unique in that it involves a hostage crisis in Vienna, Austria, a faraway country, and a surprising connection is discovered, and the ending, which comforts the grief of those who have lost their family, leaves a deep resonance.
Meanwhile, "Love in Case" is a story about a man who chases his older sister, who has started acting strangely, and ends up trapped in an elevator with her.
The conversation between siblings, who reveal their unspeakable secrets and confirm their true feelings, is heartbreaking.
It is a 'bitter and sad' love survival story of youth that questions whether love is possible in the so-called 'Hell Joseon'.
"Youngjae is Youngjae" is the story of Youngjae, a student preparing for college entrance exams who goes out to work in place of his father, who runs a moving company.
In an era of uniform education and 'effort,' the image of young people with clear opinions and pursuing their dreams is impressive.

Overcoming the misfortune that has permeated Korean society
Living bravely through this difficult and painful 'today'

In this installment of "The Truth I Will Tell Tomorrow," the protagonists grapple with their own pain and fearful truths, bringing to mind the turbulent events that swept through Korean society in the 2010s.
For the youth of the generation living in the future, what does "tomorrow" and "truth" mean? For those who will create great change and new meaning, "The Truth to Tell Tomorrow" will be a steadfast companion, holding their hand.
Just as we can find a ray of hope in the way the main characters in "The Truth I Will Tell Tomorrow" take a step into the truth, holding the hands of their friends or family,
It will give you the wisdom to distinguish between truth and lies and the courage to not turn a blind eye to injustice.

I still don't understand this incomprehensible world.
But I decided to accept it.
Between the unfortunate yesterday and the uncertain tomorrow, I decided to live this difficult and painful 'today' with determination.
I decided to shed tears alongside someone who was crying helplessly on the beach where rough waves were crashing.
He was willing to share the pain he was experiencing.
