The Kingdom of God Outside the Church
The Kingdom of God Outside the Church
Description
Book Introduction
The church should not be the ultimate goal of Christianity.
The church comes out of the church
We must build the kingdom of God that God desires.

‘The Kingdom of God outside the church’ is the kingdom that Jesus desired, and it is the direction that Christians should pursue.
However, there are quite a few churches where churchism has entered the church and become a feast for the church members only.
The author emphasizes that, in order for the church to not be abandoned, “it must abandon the idea that the church is the ultimate goal of Christianity” and “the church must not fall into ecclesiasticism.”

The reason the author warns against churchism is that if Christianity begins and ends with the church, it would be like Jews beginning and ending with Judaism.
Many pastors and theologians used this as an excuse to criticize him as an anarchist.
However, people who have read the author's books or heard his lectures say that he is a conservative believer.
He said, “There is no churchlessness.
“When people of faith gather together, that is a church,” he says.
He also says, “The purpose of the church is to raise healthy Christians and send them out into the world to build the kingdom of God.”

Stanley Jones, an American missionary who devoted himself to India for many years, said, “If the church cannot function as a church, Christianity must survive outside the church.”
The author quotes this saying, “If the church cannot be a source of hope, we must abandon it and let the words of Jesus become our hope.
“The church must not take responsibility for killing the truth of Jesus and the Christian spirit,” he said.
It means that we earnestly hope that the will and truth of Jesus will be treasured and practiced through the church and Christians.

This book is written by an author who has lived as a philosopher and believer for over 80 years. It introduces the true meaning of Jesus that he found in the Bible and shows us through his own life how we can truly put that meaning into practice in our lives.

Into the book
I believe that Christianity must be reborn for the kingdom of God.
To achieve this, I am convinced that the church must nurture and send out into society workers who believe in and follow Jesus' teachings.
And we Christians must take on the mission of sacrificial love to build the kingdom of God.
Then the Lord will be with us.
When the Lord dwells in our time, we participate in eternity.
Because the word of truth and the kingdom of love are the fundamental spirit of Christianity.

Times change, social systems change, and our way of life changes too.
Yet the church still treats Caesar's things with hostility.
They think that Caesar is the enemy and that what is ours is separate.
We often judge someone by human standards, saying, 'That person will be saved, this person will go to hell.'
But anyone who knows Jesus' will knows that we have no right to judge like that.
It is our overstepping of authority, and salvation belongs only to God.
- Page 15

More important than 'giving glory to God' or 'living for Jesus' is serving our neighbors according to God's will and Jesus' teachings.
It is not about following doctrines, but about sharing some of the great love Jesus has given us.
This is a responsibility given to humans.
The one who leads us to do so is the Holy Spirit.
When we experience this, we cannot help but live in faith.
It is about living with a mission.

Jesus told us, “Do not worry about what you will eat, what you will drink, or what you will wear,” and said that the Gentiles seek all these things.
People who do not know God are completely concerned with what to eat, drink, wear, what kind of house to live in, and what kind of car to buy.
However, for believers, food, clothing, and shelter cannot be the whole of life, nor the purpose of life.
Because I know God's will.
Possessions are just things that are necessary for daily life and people, so don't worry too much about them.
What I am saying is that a life of satisfaction through possessions is not the purpose or the whole of our lives.
Possessions are necessary for our personality and for a human life.
The purpose and meaning of our lives are fulfilled as we seek His kingdom and righteousness.

Wealth is necessary to the extent that our character is developed. If we have more than our character is developed, we become slaves to wealth.
Yes, that's right.
When you have a lot of income, live moderately, and when you have little income, live with a grateful heart.
The prayer, “Give us this day our daily bread” means, “Give us the bread we need so we can do the important work.
It means, “I will live for higher things, for more precious things.”
-Page 31

You must work hard without receiving help from others.
So, use your legitimately earned income for good causes.
If you only save, the economy will shrink.
So, don't put the economic standards on me, put them on society.
The outlook on life that Jesus gave me was, 'Live spiritually in the upper class.
But economically, don't be a slave to money and live in the middle class.
Become rich and run a big business.
Still, it's better for yourself to live middle class.
Having a lot of income and living a luxurious life does not mean you are happy.
Even if you earn a lot of money, people who live in line with middle class standards are happy.

The worst thing in the world is when brothers fight with each other.
A fight between brothers hurts a father's heart the most.
How must God the Father feel when he sees Protestants fighting among themselves, Protestants and Catholics, conservatives and progressives fighting? People in the world are trying to stop fighting, saying they'll both perish if they do, but believers can't even do that.
It is very worrying to see our society mired in collective egoism.
So, I pray to God to forgive our people.

Encountering Jesus is the foundation of faith.
First of all, the faith of the Samaritan woman was not a faith of space.
Second, it was not a faith that trusted in one's own feelings, knowledge, or will.
When I meet Jesus, He comes and lives within me.
I think I'm alive, but when other people look at me, they think, 'That person is different from us.
There is someone else inside that person.
You might say, 'Jesus is probably in there.'
Such a person should become a pastor, an elder, and a theologian.
-Page 56

People in the world need to be satisfied to be happy, but for believers, when God is happy, they become happier.
Please leave space and nature beliefs as soon as possible.
And worship God the Father in spirit and truth.
I hope that by meeting the Lord, your personality will change, your outlook on life and values will change, and you will live according to your mission.
Living according to God's will is the path of faith given to us.
-Page 63

Ask yourself specifically, "What kind of faith can I have?" and "What will I do to accept Jesus into my heart?" Pray and live your life accordingly.
I, too, always pray for a short time when I wake up in the morning, but it's been a long time since I prayed for myself or my family.
Now, I pray that God will lead our country and the world in the right direction and help us understand His will.

I hope you will all join us in praying for our people and the future of our nation.
If God accepts this will, he will be able to stop the path of evil in human history.
I hope we can make Christian choices and pray together.
- Page 83

The church must move toward the future.
Furthermore, we must move forward not with a narrow faith that only seeks to do well among ourselves, but with a broad faith that embraces everyone.
Christianity, which creates factions by saying this is okay and that is not okay, wastes energy on doctrinal debates, and ends up fighting and splitting, has no hope.
