Publisher's Review
The completely revised edition of the best-selling book, "Magic Alchemy Rolling," chosen by 100,000 readers, is back.
Published in 2019, "Magic Pension Rolling" was the first in Korea to provide guidance on investing using pension and tax-saving accounts.
It's been four years since the book came out.
In the meantime, many related systems and laws have changed.
The ISA, which was initially launched for a limited time, has now established itself as a lifelong tax-saving account, the tax deduction limit for personal pensions has been expanded, and the burdensome comprehensive income tax method for pension withdrawals has been improved to allow for separate taxation.
There have been continued requests for a revised edition to reflect these institutional improvements and changes in the tax system, and this book has been republished.

Although many people are investing in their pensions, the majority of the population is still unaware that this system even exists.
The author explains that this is due to a lack of financial literacy.
I hope the government will take a more proactive approach to improving the public's financial literacy, but it doesn't seem easy.
Fortunately, the government, which has seriously considered the premature depletion of the national pension due to low birth rates and an aging population, is working with relevant organizations to raise awareness about retirement pensions.

Professor Young-Joo Nielsen of Sungkyunkwan University, who wrote the recommendation for this revised edition, says:
“I think the revised edition of 『Magic Pension Rolling』 by author Kim Seong-il is a very meaningful book in this respect.
The greatest strength of this book is that the author himself wrote about his own concerns in the book.
The second advantage, and the most important, is that it tells a story about results that anyone can achieve to some degree with just a little bit of effort and persistence.
The third advantage is that it contains advice based on the current situation, despite the inconvenience of having to frequently update the content.”

We live in an age where we don't know how long human life will last.
They say we live in the 100-year era.
Who knows, in five years, ten years from now, life expectancy might be 120 or 150 years?
If I prepare like I do now, will I have no problems in retirement? Will I think about it later? Will someone else take care of it for me? That's a huge mistake.
Until the social system works, we have no choice but to prepare through our own efforts.

Fortunately, there are pension products and tax-saving accounts that can help us grow our assets.
Let's start from now.
The sooner you start, the more pension you receive.
The lives of someone who receives 3 million won per month in pension and someone who receives 1 million won are clearly different.
Kang Hwan-guk, author of "You Can Do It! Algo Investment," which has 260,000 YouTube followers, and "Follow Quantitative Investment Without Thinking," says:
"Do I really need to buy the revised edition? Author Kim Seong-il has reflected the changes in the tax system and significantly revised the recommended portfolio, so even those who have read 'Mayeongul' should buy it again and read it.
This book is the only pension textbook in Korea.
“Your old age depends on this book.”
