"Find Yi Sun-sin" begins at a time when rumors of an invasion by Japanese pirates were circulating.
It is the day when the turtle ship is built and launched into the sea for the first time, but the soldiers are gripped by fear and are only anxious about the Japanese pirates.
What would have been General Yi Sun-sin's thoughts as he looked at those soldiers?

Admiral Yi Sun-sin, who was among the people, suddenly jumps out and boards the turtle ship.
Even though he knew the ceremony was coming up soon, he felt like there was something more important than that.

The turtle ship in "Find Yi Sun-sin" is based on the most recently restored form, and the artist has richly composed locations and objects to capture the curiosity and perspective of young readers.


The turtle ship's oars, cannons, and doors between the oars for shooting arrows on both sides allow us to guess how fast it would have moved and how it would have fought the Japanese.
Here, we show the food storage, the back room, and the place to drain the water that seeped into the ship, and we are encouraged to imagine what life on a ship was like when there was no war.
