Author Jo Young-geul's new work, "Earth Restaurant" (Media Changbi, 2023), is an environmental picture book that reminds children of the importance of nature, set in a high-end fine dining restaurant run by the last remaining Earthlings.
What if the natural beauty we so readily enjoy became a priceless and precious commodity? Earth Restaurant presents a four-season course meal, reminiscent of days we would never experience in a future where Earth has been destroyed: days rolling in pristine snow, days savoring the earthy scent in spring rain, days gazing at cherry blossoms in full bloom, days standing lingering under the setting sun and the vast, black night sky.
