Not a fan. Are you a fan or a disciple?
Description
Book Introduction
The most important fact: “I am a true disciple.”
Follow the path of a disciple without leaving anything behind, without retreating, without regret.
Today, Jesus calls us to be his disciples, not his fans.
What He wants is not a half-hearted person who pursues both the world and Jesus, always weighing the two.
Now lay everything before Jesus and follow Him alone! True joy and spiritual fulfillment can only be found in the life of a disciple.
A book for new believers just beginning their faith journey, and for all believers seeking to re-establish their faith! Am I now a fan of Jesus, or a disciple?
Fan: "Come and cheer" [A person who comes and cheers and then disappears]
Disciple: "Come and die" (He who comes and dies and serves)

Epilogue: Three Sentences from William Borden in My Heart
Into the book
William Borden was born the heir to a dairy company worth billions of dollars today.
He earned degrees from Yale University and Princeton University Graduate School.
When William graduated from high school, his parents encouraged him to travel the world.
So, while traveling through Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, I felt called to go to places where the gospel had not yet reached.
So he sent a letter to his parents, dedicating his life to missionary work for Jesus.
Then he wrote a sentence in his Bible.
“No Reserves.”
William knew that following Jesus required total commitment.
During his first year at Yale University, at his father's insistence, he decided to love only the Lord and started a group with a friend to read the Bible and pray every morning.
By the time William was in fourth grade, there were 1,000 such groups.
After graduation, he wrote another sentence on the back of the Bible.
“No Retreats.”
He heard the Lord's voice calling him to world missions and decided to spread the gospel in Gansu Province, China.
However, before entering China, he first went to Egypt to learn Arabic and prepare for missionary work in Islamic regions.
But then he ended up getting spinal meningitis there.
And a month later, he passed away at the young age of twenty-five and was buried in Cairo.
After he passed away, three final sentences were found in his Bible.
“No Regrets.”
He will forever be remembered as a 'disciple of Christ'.

The joy of giving up everything to follow Christ.
It is a precious value that Christians today must possess.
It has been five years since the publication of “Are You a Fan or a Disciple?”
Meanwhile, many people have joined the author on his personal journey toward becoming a disciple of Christ.
The author has met countless people who have joined him in his disciple's life.
And in the process, I began to think about the problem of ‘identity’.
The traces of his worries and conclusions are contained in the last chapter of this book.
Let's take a moment to relive the thrill of "Are You a Fan or a Disciple?" through the author's new message.
