Following the Buddha's teachings
Description
Book Introduction
Those who follow the Buddha's teachings are the Buddha's disciples.
We must follow the Buddha, our teacher, and meet the Buddha within us.
This book compiles the footsteps of the good disciples who have practiced for thousands of years to achieve enlightenment, the realization that “I am the Buddha,” following the teachings of Buddha.
The author's life and hard work, as he forgot the passage of time on Jirisan Mountain and devoted himself to attaining enlightenment by following the Buddha's teachings, are fully captured in this book, and I believe it will serve as a compass toward enlightenment for those who have a connection with it.

Into the book
My connection with the Buddha's teachings began with the great questions, "What am I?" and "What is this world?"
My life's cognitive purification began when I happened upon Jogyesa Buddhist University, where I sought to resolve my curiosity about the Buddha's teachings, which are said to be difficult to encounter in a hundred million kalpas.
--- p.6 From “Prologue - Hoping to Immerse Yourself in the Buddha’s Teachings”
The very reason why Buddha became a monk was to resolve the issue of life and death.
The Buddha, who was born as a prince, had already achieved the purification of his emotions from greed and distraction.
There was an urgent need for cognitive purification to resolve the foolish question of why humans die.
After Buddha attained enlightenment, he explained in great detail the method of liberation from the cycle of reincarnation.
-- p.28
Sabayeto's life is one where no one knows when the moment of death will come.
Because this is a world of suffering where we must endure, if we live in a desperate situation, at some point the moment of death will come.
Rebirth is human
As we go through life, we experience big and small things.
They make a fuss saying, “We’re in trouble, we’re in trouble,” but when you listen, it’s just a trivial matter.
Is there anything greater than birth and death? The only great event is birth and death, the great event of life and death.

Publisher's Review
Where is enlightenment?
It is to follow the teachings of the enlightened one.
A natural cannot beat a hard worker, and a hard worker cannot beat a consistent worker.
In practice, consistency is the best.
But sometimes, even the most consistent people make irreversible mistakes.
That's because you took the wrong path right from the start and just kept going forward steadily.
As a practitioner, you must check your direction frequently to avoid making these mistakes.
'Is this the right path I'm taking?'
Just as a ship sailing on the vast ocean must constantly check its compass, and a car traveling on countless roads must constantly check its landmarks, so a practitioner must constantly keep in mind the teachings of the Buddha, the enlightened one.
We must heed the teachings of the sages who have consistently passed down the Dharma to overcome the gap in space and time spanning thousands of years.
And most importantly, we must penetrate the essence of the mind that resides as the Buddha within us.
This book, with its insight encompassing the Book of Changes, fortune telling, and modern quantum mechanics, ultimately guides you on the path to enlightenment following the teachings of Buddha.
Forgetting the passage of time on Jirisan, Who is the Buddha, Teachings of the Zen Masters, Where is the mind?, etc. By organizing the teachings of Buddha and Zen Masters into parts, it suggests the path to enlightenment by following the Buddha's teachings.
Just as you must imitate happy people to be happy, you must imitate enlightened people to become enlightened.
It will be a good time for practitioners who are thirsty for enlightenment.
