The Reality of Counseling Interviews for Beginners
Description
Book Introduction
"The Reality of Counseling Interviews for Beginners" is divided into three main parts.
'Part 1: Beginning of Counseling (Chapters 1-5)' contains information on counseling preparation, intake interview, psychological testing, first counseling, and case conceptualization as the first step toward understanding the client's psychological difficulties.
In 'Part 2: The Middle and End of Counseling (Chapters 6-9)', we present how to continue and end counseling in accordance with the client's changes that may appear in the middle of counseling after counseling preparation and initial problem assessment.
In the final chapter, ‘Part 3: Interventions by Situation Frequently Experienced in Counseling Scenes (Chapters 10-14)’, we attempted to provide guidelines on how to appropriately intervene in the types of clients or problems that may arise in each counseling process, depending on their characteristics.
