Publisher's Review
preface
-What the authors have always regretted while working in school classrooms and social welfare fields is that it is difficult to meet the demands of administrative practice.
Students preparing to enter the welfare field often complain that although they can perform welfare work primarily with theoretical and technical knowledge such as administrative theory, policy theory, and practical theory, they have a vague fear of practical work that they did not learn at school.
I have also seen that social welfare workers do not have the opportunity to systematically learn practical skills, and are improvising with fragmented knowledge imparted by seniors or uncertain knowledge acquired by searching through various regulations and manuals on their own.
It was found that both students studying social welfare and those working in the welfare field have a strong desire for knowledge of social welfare practice.
-The authors, who were concerned about these issues, joined forces to create a proper textbook on administrative practice based on their long-term experience working in schools and welfare facilities.
Of course, I stepped forward bravely and set out with great enthusiasm, but creating teaching materials was not easy.
Among the numerous practical areas, it was not easy to decide what scope to cover, what standards to adopt, and what level of content to introduce in the textbook, and there was a lot of thought put into it.
After much discussion, this book has finally come to light.
-This book aims to cover as many practical applications as possible.
We aimed to include content that would be useful to both students studying social welfare and those working in the field.
