Publisher's Review
Author's Preface

For the past 15 years, applying high-dose intravenous vitamin C therapy to cancer patients and studying and sharing experiences with many doctors through activities at the Korean Society of Clinical Oncology and Metabolism has been a continuous process of exploration and learning.
Looking back, the patients who never lost hope and willingly participated in new treatments even during the difficult course of their illnesses were my greatest teachers, and my fellow doctors, both senior and junior, who passionately shared their concerns and sought a path with me were living textbooks.

As I navigate the vast and deep sea of integrative oncology, high-dose intravenous vitamin C has sometimes been a compass, keeping me on track and at other times a sharp tool that allows me to see the hidden facets of the giant iceberg that is cancer.
The process of first encountering high-dose intravenous vitamin C therapy, poring over relevant papers, seeking advice from pioneers, carefully applying it in actual clinical practice, sharing the joys and sorrows of life with patients, and engaging in fierce discussions and communication with fellow doctors based on that experience, all became invaluable nutrients that went beyond simply accumulating medical knowledge and enriched my life itself.

High-dose intravenous vitamin C therapy is a field for which there is no established textbook.
Even at this very moment, new research results are continuously being published in laboratories and hospitals around the world, but much remains unknown about their mechanisms, efficacy, and safety.
It's a challenging yet fascinating field that requires constantly tracking the latest knowledge, applying it to clinical experience, and approaching the true nature of the field, like piecing together a giant puzzle piece by piece.
We speak cautiously of hope, but we must also proceed cautiously, always mindful of the limitations and uncertainties of scientific evidence.

This book, "Vitamin C and Cancer," was written with the intention of creating a guide for all those seeking to safely and effectively administer high-dose intravenous vitamin C therapy, based on knowledge and considerations accumulated through past clinical experience and academic activities.
We have been particularly interested in integrative medicine cancer treatment and have strived to provide practical assistance to medical professionals who are trying to introduce high-dose intravenous vitamin C therapy into clinical practice, as well as to patients and their families who are seeking to find new possibilities and not give up hope in the difficult journey of cancer.

I sincerely hope that this book will serve as a guide tailored to each reader's needs.
For general readers, we hope this will help them gain a proper understanding of vitamin C and develop a balanced perspective in the fight against cancer. For professionals, we hope this will serve as a strong partner in the safe and effective use of high-dose intravenous vitamin C therapy based on evidence.

Of course, it is impossible to cover everything about high-dose intravenous vitamin C therapy in one book.
Research is ongoing and knowledge will be constantly updated.
We promise to continuously improve and develop the first edition through future revisions.
