Understanding Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics: Molding/Applications
Description
Book Introduction
This book was written with the intention of serving as a guide for readers who are interested in and want to learn about FRP and CFRP, or who use or manufacture related materials in industrial settings, as well as for undergraduate and graduate students studying polymer composite materials, so that they can understand everything from the basics to molding/application.
Therefore, the author has tried to minimize the introduction of complex formulas or chemical formulas or content that goes too deep into academic subjects as much as possible so that readers do not feel burdened while reading this book.

Publisher's Review
The author thought that a book was needed that could be written in a classroom-like manner, explaining everything from basic concepts to advanced levels in as easy and accessible sentences as possible, so that industry professionals, researchers, researchers, graduate students, and undergraduate students who need a guide to learn about fiber-reinforced plastics (FRP) from the basics to the professional level, focusing on carbon fiber-reinforced plastics (CFRP).
In fact, there must have been many people who were interested in the FRP or CFRP field or have been working in the related field for a long time, but had difficulties due to lack of knowledge of basic concepts, terminology, and theoretical background, or who had been unable to begin studying the existing books on composite materials because the content was too difficult.
Having given numerous lectures to industry professionals over the past several decades, I have always felt the need for a book that could serve as a guide to the FRP and CFRP fields for those experiencing these challenges, while also being accessible to non-experts.

In writing this book, the author set out to prepare the first specialized book that could serve as a guide focusing on the constituent materials of composite materials, while covering comprehensive content on fiber-reinforced plastics, including the first steps in carbon fiber-reinforced plastics, basic concepts of fiber-reinforced plastics, polymer matrix, carbon fibers, fiber-matrix interface, molding materials, molding process technology, characteristics, applications, and recycling.
