This number represents the number of times a revised edition of this book has been published. 『Immortal Wisdom』 was first published in 1910 and has been published in 11 languages over the past 113 years. When this book was first published in 1910, it was read by a very small number of powerful people and passed on to their children, but it was not until 1999 that it was made fully public and made known to the world through [The Science of Getting Rich Network]. This is the fourth book in the series [Economics and Management], which was first attempted as a single volume, and is one of four volumes in the series [Economics and Management], which will be published in five categories. The obvious truth of this book is that it contains the full text of the original text, allowing us to see why the message derived from [The Secret]—"Can you achieve what you want by vividly wishing and dreaming?"—has come under attack today. This is a stark contrast to [The Secret] in that using one's mind to achieve what one desires is not only one side of a two-part key, but also contains a mechanism that requires action, gratitude, and the preparation of values to be exchanged in the present state on the other side. Rhonda Byrne appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show and revealed that she wrote a book that made her who she is today, and confessed that she included some of it in the book. The book consistently asserts the message that wealth comes from a formula as clear as mathematics, a program that perfects the ideology of so-called "fantasy-like" ideas, the secrets of thought—the very entities we use to get what we want. The content of the book, which can be classified as a thought that is generally called metaphysics in modern times, confirms that it was a concept that was made up of a pair of claims: 'All human beings obtain everything they desire from a thinking object' and the agreement of the actions that create it. The reason it gained the reputation of being the 'first modern self-help book' and is recorded in overseas media is because it was published about 27 years before Napoleon Hill's 'Think and Grow Rich' in 1937, and Napoleon Hill also mentioned this book as "the first start that made me who I am today." Also, it was published three years before Charles Harnell's 'The Master Key System', which was published in 1912, and he recorded it as a book that 'inspired him' in an interview. Dale Carnegie and Ken Honda also left interviews saying that this book was 'the first step that made me who I am today.' This book, which established the basic message of modern self-help books—cultivate desire, vividly picture what you want, hold on to it, and maintain faith that it will come true—contains a half-truth that should have been widely known. |

Publisher's Review
No matter how you package poverty, the one thing that remains constant is that you cannot live a complete or successful life unless you are rich.
Because if I'm not wealthy, I won't have the opportunity to have or experience the things necessary for happiness.
If you don't have enough money, you won't have the opportunity to further develop your talents.
Neither intellectual attainment nor spiritual refinement can reach the highest level that an individual can attain.
To develop intellectual communication or talent, you need a lot of necessary things and experiences, but you can't have them or experience them because you don't have the money to enjoy them.
The human mind, soul, and body develop through the process of using objects.
Society is structured so that if you have money you can have anything, and nothing will change that.
Therefore, it is a given that for humans to acquire and develop great talents, they must have the necessary objects, opportunities, places, and experiences.
Based on this fact, we must learn the science of becoming rich, which is the foundation of all development.
The purpose of all life is development.
Therefore, all living beings have an inalienable right to any advancement they may attain.
The inalienable fundamental rights of man are the right to a perfect mind, a completely self-sufficient soul, and the right to free and unlimited use of all things necessary for his development.
In other words, it refers to the right to become rich.
I will not use the word 'wealth' metaphorically in this book.
Even if they pretend that directly mentioning and dealing with 'money' or 'wealth' is a sign of lack of culture, if you take off that mask, the rich are inevitably people with a stronger and more obsessive desire for 'wealth'.
So, I will talk about 'wealth' and 'money' with as much sarcasm as I can without any hesitation.
Being rich doesn't mean having enough to eat or having small satisfactions or fulfillment.
There is no need to settle for less when you can buy, enjoy, and have more.
The purpose of nature is development and progress.
Everyone has the right and the duty to have whatever helps them develop strength, grace, beauty, and a fulfilling life.
To ignore these fundamental values of human life and be content with small things is nothing short of sin.
We call a person who can buy everything he wants and owns everything he wants while living a 'rich' person.
People who are not rich can never have everything they want.
The world has become so complex now.
Accordingly, even the average man or woman needs a huge amount of money to live above average or even average.
Everyone wants to develop or discover their talents and achieve what they want.
This desire is inherently engraved in our DNA.
So, we must face the fact that the desire to realize this innate desire is human nature.
Rather than glorifying poverty and lack of money with various words, wouldn't it be better to acknowledge and express the basic desires that are inherent in us from birth?
Success in life is becoming the person you want to be.
There are some essential items that are required for the process.
You also need time to spend on opportunities and experiences.
But aren't these things something you can freely use only when you become wealthy? Therefore, there's nothing wrong with wanting to become wealthy.
It is the most essential of all knowledge.
Furthermore, the pursuit of becoming wealthy, fulfilled, and abundant is to be commended.
Rather, it is the person who has no desire to become rich who is abnormal.
It is also abnormal for someone not to want to have enough money to buy everything they want.
We have three motives: we live for the body, we live for the mind and spirit, and we live for the soul.
None of these are more important or valuable than any other.
They are all equally important and necessary.
If any one of the body, mind, or soul is lacking or insufficient, the rest will also be incomplete.
It is neither right nor noble nor sublime to live only for the soul and deny the mind and body.
It is also wrong to live only for the intellect and deny the body and soul.
We know all too well how bad it can be to care only for the body and neglect the mind and soul, failing to nourish them.
True life means the full and complete expression of all the functions that a human being can manifest through body, mind, and soul.
An imbalance of these elements prevents us from living a truly happy life.
Wherever there is unexpressed potential or unmanifested function, there is always an unfulfilled desire.
Desire is a possibility waiting to be expressed, a function that hopes to be expressed in action.
We cannot live a physically fulfilling life without good food, comfortable clothing, a warm shelter, and freedom from excessive labor.
Because rest and relaxation are also necessary for physical life.
If one has no books to read and no time to read them, if one has no opportunity to travel and look at and feel things, if one has no loved ones with whom one can rest and talk, if one has no companions with whom one can freely share intellectual knowledge, one cannot live a full life, even spiritually.
It should be filled with art and beautiful things to see and feel and to relax.
On the spiritual side, love is absolutely necessary.
Sometimes love is treated as something that can be put on the back burner.
But people feel the greatest happiness when they can give something to someone they love and do something beneficial.
Love is an emotion that is most naturally expressed when given.
A person who has nothing to give finds it difficult to fulfill his duties as a husband, a father, a citizen, or a human being.
So it's only natural that we want the wealth to make all this possible.
It is perfectly right for you to want to be rich.
If you are an ordinary man or woman, that is all you can do.
Therefore, studying and learning to become rich cannot but be the most noble and necessary of all learning.
To neglect your studies to become rich is to neglect your duties to yourself, to God, and to humanity.
For there is no greater service to God and humanity than to give yourself the best of yourself.
