Rainbow Caucasus
Rainbow Caucasus
Description
Book Introduction
The three Caucasus countries are Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Armenia. Although they are small in land area and population, they are each rich in their own unique characteristics.
I was so excited throughout the trip that I didn't even realize how much time had passed.
Before leaving on my trip, I felt a bit uneasy, as the country was considered a travel-avoidant country due to the aftermath of the war between Russia and Ukraine.
I have a feeling that if the Russo-Russian War ends soon, there will be a travel rush.

If you are traveling to the three countries of the Caucasus, I am sure this book will be an excellent guide.
The reason is that although there are guidebooks for the three Caucasus countries, there are almost no up-to-date travelogues.
Additionally, this book includes interviews with three local guides, which further enhances the completeness of the book.
Since this book was published as an ebook at the end of last year, word of mouth has spread through Sinabro, and readers have been flooding in with requests for a paperback version as well.
If possible, we have published a revised edition in a more portable and refreshing format.

The seven co-authors are truly a rainbow of seven colors.
The perspectives were diverse, with scholars, urban planners, construction engineers, retired civil servants, and secondary school teachers studying Eurasian culture for over 40 years.
It was especially interesting to invite a local guide and introduce the interview.
Eunnuri Publishing recommends this book to readers who dream of traveling to the three countries of the Caucasus, have already been there, or are looking for a healing travel destination, stating that it will provide fun and depth that cannot be found in travel guidebooks.

This book goes beyond a simple travelogue and aims to capture the diverse aspects of the three Caucasus countries as explored from each author's perspective.
Rather than one history or one story, it is a book that harmoniously combines multiple perspectives.
I sincerely hope that this book will serve as a guide to understanding the three countries of the Caucasus.
thank you

Publisher's Review
Eunnuri Publishing published ‘Rainbow Caucasus’.
The subtitle is '7 people, 7 colors, expedition to 3 countries in the Caucasus'.
This book was published as an e-book last time (2025.
1 8) is a paper book with a revised edition.

There is a proverb in Azerbaijan that says, "When a guest enters the house, blessings follow."
The three Caucasus countries, which have recently been attracting attention from travelers, are a healing travel destination for some, a crossroads of Eastern and Western civilizations for others, and a base camp for advancing into Ukraine after the end of the Russo-Russian War for others.

In this book, seven authors explore the three Caucasus countries from their own unique perspectives.
Seven people with different occupations and majors show a colorful rainbow of different dreams.
Focusing on Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Armenia, it explores various topics, including architecture, religion, history, culture, and food, from a traveler's perspective, vividly conveying the charm of each country.

3 Features of the Book

1.
A multi-layered narrative containing the seven perspectives of seven people.

This book is not a simple travelogue, but rather a collection of essays from various perspectives presented by seven co-authors with different backgrounds.
The diverse experiences of architects, urban experts, and historical researchers are combined to provide readers with richer content.

2.
A harmonious exploration of culture and history

From traditional architecture to traces of religious conflict and the transformation of modern cities, it connects the past and present of the three Caucasus countries.
It goes beyond simply introducing healing tourist destinations and unfolds a rainbow-colored cultural discourse, discussing a future of coexistence beyond the history of conflict between nations.

3.
Interview with local guide and general planner

We introduced a conversation between three people who served as local guides during the trip (all of whom had studied abroad in Korea) and Professor Lee Jae-hyeok, who was the overall planner.
Through this, we were able to overcome prejudice and increase the level of completion through the composition of the sumi correlation.
