[CHAPTER 1] Basic Listening Training

Learn about the G-TELP listening section, as well as the test structure and process.
We cover the basic theory and practice problems for multiple choice analysis and question note-taking.

[CHAPTER 1] Analysis of Listening Question Types

The 26 questions in the Listening section of the Level 2 G-TELP exam are divided into four types: Topic and Purpose, Details, Fact Checking, and Inference. Each type is provided with its characteristics, problem-solving strategies, and example solutions.

[CHAPTER 2] Features and Problem Types by Part

We divide the four parts (passages) tested in the listening section of the Level 2 G-TELP test into four sections and provide strategies for each section through analysis of its characteristics and types, analysis of choice options, question note-taking, and problem-solving practice.

[CHAPTER 2] Paraphrasing Practice

Based on the original question, you can practice selecting the correct answer by comparing it to the content of the passage through paraphrasing phrases between the modified passage and the choices.

[CHAPTER 2] LISTENING EXERCISE

This is a problem-solving step that applies the problem type and paraphrasing practice.
Three fingerprints, each half the length of the actual fingerprint, are presented for each part.

[CHAPTER 2] ACTUAL LISTENING

We provide past questions that were actually tested on the G-TELP regular exam as a final step in listening learning.
By solving past exam questions, we will review the problem types, paraphrasing, clues to the correct answer, and vocabulary, based on the skills we have built up through previously learned part-by-part characteristics, types, strategies, and practice problems.

[Appendix] Question Note-Taking 5 times

For extensive practice of question note-taking, the most basic step for listening comprehension, we provide five sets of question note-taking practice for each part (total of 20 sets, 130 questions) as an appendix.


Learners Who Need This Book

- Learners whose target score on the G-TELP is 65 points or higher
- Learners who scored higher in listening than reading on the G-TELP Level 2 test
- Learners who must obtain a score of 50 or more on the G-TELP listening test
